I agree with both of you... For sure Scottish High has a positive feed back from parents and is better than many other schools rated in the survey.....

And it is one of the few schools that does not ask your salary package, grandparents education, and those lengthy questionnaires......

We just need to be satisfied with what we have selected for our kids....

+ SH is well established, LVIS is new.

- SH is on ICSE board, CBSE has come a long way and is better than ICSE as on date.

Infra of both are at par.

Consider location and then finalize.

We have received a call for interaction by DAV 14 on the 17th Sept...Can anyone give a breif on what all is included as a part of the interaction..

Rahul,

From your query, its not clear if you are talking about Pre-nursery or KG. However if its for pre-nursery, this would be the procedure :

a) You need to go to school at given time & date.

b) There you need to handover the receipt of the prospectus you had bought from counter to the lady who would be arranging entry of parents inside conference room where interaction takes place.

c) Interaction would not be even for 5 mts. with both parents where they ask for qualification details & little bit of your working background.

d) No interaction with kid at all.

That's it.

Infact, in our case we were called at 2'O clock. We been to school at 1:50 & then had to wait till 4:30 to get a turn for interaction which also got over in 5 mts.

Already applied DAV 14 and Salwan...Was thinking to apply for Heritage as well....My child already goes to pre-Nurs in Mother Pride so we were preferring schools where he could be taken in Nursery ...Guess but with the age criteria of DAV they didnt allow to apply for Nursery (he is 2 months short of required age)...But in Salwan after speaking to the head mistress we were allowed to apply there..pls let mw know any other schools ...

Rahul,

We too have similar concern of age factor due to which we couldnt apply in few of schools. We have filled in DAV, Amity, Amiown & Salwan. So I think you would have tried for Amity & Amiown also. However there are other schools like Blue Bell, Ridge Valley etc. wherein you may try even now i believe.

Ahujag,

I feel Sec46 is better option since it consists of complete junior & senior wing in same premises & you wont have to handle the problem of shifting the school as it may happen if you go for sec51 school.

Rest studies & facilities seems to be quite good .
