Nursery Admissions in Delhi NCR 2024-25

Shalom Presidency is a new branch and is only operational upto class IV as of now. they are following the ICSE board and the fee structure is comparatively higher as they are planning to provide many activities like lotus valley and likes.

Shalom's Branch at Nirvana is a disappointment in terms of discipline and development of the child.

However their Sushant lok branch is well managed and supervised. being the branch where all the management sits, the discipline and interaction is also much better. they are following the CBSE board but don't have many activities...they start skating from MIII but nothing for nursery as such. but the pace of studies and delivery method is nice. not too much pressure on the children.

That's my take on Shalom...as far as the comparison goes, someone else will have to address that :)

Sakshi/Other Parents,

I have been observing on this forum, that lot of parents talk about Top schools. First of all , I agree to all other parents that we all want our children to join best of the best schools.

But how often we think about it in detailed manner. We have a look at ratings provided by media in terms of newspaper, magazines about the top schools & try to decide upon the same. But sometimes I wonder if these ratings are actually, a true one although there will surely a a good amount of impact from facts on ratings.

Earlier, I use to think that Ryan is one of the best schools but if you have ever observed even on this forum very seldom parents wants to go for Ryan. I saw lot of parents telling that few schools have a very good leader / school management person due to which they started thinking that the schools must be very good. If it is so, then similar is the case of Ryan wherein also the founder of school is a very reputed one having so many awards, good personality, good experience etc.

So, I would say rather one should have a look at school personally, discuss about schools on these kind of forums etc. and then decide by own thinking & just don't get carried away from schools buildings, set up, kind of advertisement schools do etc.

What do you say?

Dear Mr Harihar

You are spot on.We should not follow surveys blindly.Most authentic feedback is feedback of parent. what can be done by going to school at the time of pick and drop .

Also parents who are on forum gives us their inputs of previous years.

I agree surveys are not 100 % real.

I reside in sec 30 and i have seen many children going to Ryan and Shalom hills. Infact these are the two schools where most of the children whom I know, are going, apart from DPS-45 and DAV.

But this forum suggests something totally different.

Here SH, LVIS, GDG, Ridge Valley are the ones which most of the parents are opting for.

Infact DPS and DAV which i earliar considered as the Best Schools, have been put back here.

I am still not sure who is correct and what is right.

But Yes, Feedback from Parents matters the most and it definitely blows ones mind.

Except for few like Sriram etc.. all schools would have seat. It seems there is an over supply of school seats in Gurgaon.

The school would be looking for reason in admission, if its a transfer case from some other city, then it would be a bit easy.

Hi Sakshi,

Can you provide feedback on "The Millennium School" in sector 38, Gurgaon. My daughter will be 4+ years in March 2014 and she is getting admission in KG in this school.

Also, help on "Amity sector 46" and "GD Goenka" as these are also near to my home. Any other good school near sector 47?

Surabhi,Its a good school run by educomp . If distance is the criteria we have positive feedback of both but visit all the 3 schools and decide.

Surabhi,

The Millennium School :

a) Its a school of EDUCOMP company which is one of the largest company for supplying educational systems, boards etc.

b) This schools has started just recently so may take some time to get established

c) Fees seems to be normal as other medium range schools

d) The study/educational material used are good one since I too had visit to this school early this year for my son in Prenursery.

e) I dont think presently this school is upto12th standard although they say they would be upgrading by one class every year

Amity,Sec46 :

a) Surely one of the good school

b) Well established in terms of study, sports & extracurricular activities

c) Good in academics

d) Fees seems to be ok as compared to other schools

G.D.Goenka :

a) Surely .

b) This schools too started this year in March only.

c) Presently schools is with classes from Prenursery to 7th standard & like everyone says they would go for increase in 1 class every year

d) Buildings are good

e) Facilities for sports, dance, art are good

f) School & busses are Fully airconditioned

Approx. quarter fees : 38100 which are expected to get increased 15-20% by end DEC which i believe would be decided , based on students getting admission till Dec,13.
