We have already final FAS but we want that my daughter crack admission in every school. As till now she has selected in Jaipuria, Amity, St. Francis & FAS. DPS result is awaited.

Seeing the result lists of various schools and repeated names of parents in each school's list...we see a maddeining race created by all of us...we need an introspection...what we want to prove?

Yes Kamaljeet..but that's the because of lack of regulation in UP. Unlike Delhi, here schools are taking admissions at different times and nobody has any other choice but to apply for many and blocking seats. I know you guys are in lucky few to got admission in school of your choice and so are we. We visited 7-8 schools..applied in 4 of them to be at safer side...I think almost everyone did the same...Like all other nervous and confused parents, we were also very afraid in the beginning and applied in multiple schools..

Fairly agree with you...but i would say we can be more decisive owing to some social responsibility...But then its the stepping stone decision for our child...

I agree with Vikas that as parents we do tend to cover all aspects since it is the future of our child (this includes myself). With DPSI the forms were submitted much earlier (even before any results were declared) so most parents went for it. But yes doing it to boast or something is not a good thing anyway.  The fact that somebody can "boast" of a child getting into a school shows the state of affairs in the current education system especially in UP. All kids gets selected in schools so what is there to boast. Not worth it !!

Let us all wish that our children get the blessings from god so that they can prosper into good individuals.

Hi Manjari... You have got the best school for your kid ..there is no point to prove in taking part in schools where you are not interested ..Just think for a while ...(other needy can get the admission)

@Manjari: What point do you want to prove by acknowledging your daughter's admission in every school..Ultimately you would settle for oe school only..Though I congratulate you for the success of your child, I'm saddened by seeing this maddening race for proving points at such tender ages of our children..spare a thought, our sons/daughters are just 3-4 years old and how proud are we as parents by igniting this competitive spirit..
