Nursery Admissions in Delhi NCR 2026-27

But you know, today I been to DAV and have already submitted the fees. So i am not sure even if I get a call from Salwan I would be going for it or not.

However as told to you yesterday, I did ask the counsellor in DAV about 2nd list for which she said that this is the only list of 72 kids which is being finalised & as if now there is no plans of 2nd list.

How about your interactin ? How was it ?

Hope all was smooth & nothing was tense as you were assuming yesterday.

Interaction was Ok type.Formal interaction after verification of docs.My hubby was having offer letter/ID card,did't accept as Employment proof.So will be giving again Employmemnt proof of my hubby.

@Mohik,

Surprising that school did not accept the Employment certificate/ID proof as employment proof. May be they will accept the "Appointment Letter" for the same.So have they asked you guys to come again for same interaction ? or just you need to submit the copy of valid employment certificate ?

Anyways don't worry just have a hope.

Just submit the copy.They need current month salary statement as Proof of Employment(Surprising too).Appointment letter can be yrs old also,how they wil make sure u r currently working.So they need salary statement

Then i feel you don't need to worry, they just want the proof of employment & i am sure you will get the admission there.

That's why i said this interaction may be just a formality to have a final look at the parents & understand their needs & understanding about the schools.

In this case, I am sure they might have asked you guys just general questions like introduction about yourself or your kid.

Questions were like Our qualification,our office timings,daily routine with kids,child eating habits,child strength,weekness that's all.How mother n father are devoting their time with kids.We were first parents to be interviewed for prenursery for 2014-15.Our token was 1.

How is Salwan in academics as well as in extra curriculum .Suggestions please.We shuld go for it or wait for next year.

@Mohik,

As per my view both DAV as well as Salwan are equally good & more or less similar if you want to go for medium type schools & environment.

However in case a parent wants to go for experimental techniques & high profile environment then both of these schools are not at all suitable.

Therefore for my son, I chose D.A.V which matches our thinking. I might have even thought of Salwan, had we been shortlisted there which didn't happened in 1st list so for me its same situation in both, except the fees of Salwan which is bit more (major difference being the transportation cost).

As per me you need not worry as Salwan is quiet good in terms of exposure, academics & extra curricular activities. You may even check for feedback from Sakshi & other parents or parents whose children are already going to same school.
