Nursery Admissions in Delhi NCR 2025-26

Hi Sakshi, How would you rate Scottish high as a school overall - in terms of academics, reputation, co curricular, and also cost effectiveness. Also heard that the students are "snobbish" - is that right? Is it a school which we can bet on and leave all the rest in case we are offered admission? As no other school will declare result as early as them.

I'm asking this since their admission process is very quick and not very parent friendly. Looks like they want to collect the fees as soon as possible. They said they will open the forms counter on 29th around 7:30 - 8 am and open the submission counter within 10 mins !

They will shortlist and call for interaction within 24 hrs and if selected they will give another 24 hours for submitting the fees. So for example if I collect the form by say by 8 am and submit by 9 am the same day, they shortlist me and call me for interaction on 30th Aug and select me again, then I need to pay the fees by 1st Sept. - of course all this is in case we get shortlisted in the first place - no idea how they do it also.

Also how expensive is Scottish high in terms of "extra expenses"..like trips...special dress code for special occasions etc. Ultimately I do not want to shell out extra money on unnecessary things just to satisfy the schools whims and fancies.

Sakshi, just to add to Tuhina's query, if you may also tell us, (1) in your experience, what is the criteria that Scottish follows to select an application. Is it only 'first come first correct form submission' or is there any other 'own criteria' as what LVIS has or some weird / parent unfriendly point system? (2) what are the documents that are required to be filed along with the Scottish application?

you can find a list of the documents for Scottish High on their website also.

what they told me when I called them was

1.) 2 passport size photographs of the child

2.) 1 photo each of both the parents

3.) Copy of Birth certificate.

Anshul,Scottish will call the parents for interaction and would even call parents after one month (whose profile they find good and keep in wait list).

Tuhina, last year they took atleast 10-15 days to call all the parents along with the kids . As i remember in comparison they deduct less amount in case of withdrawal.YES BUT PARENTS GOT SMS TO SUBMIT THE FEES (within 24 hrs of screening)

You can submit the form afterwards not at the time of collection (its your choice)

It has very good reputation but yes snobbish factor also depends on family values (only school i won't blame)

Thanks Sakshi, I think then I shall apply for this school also since in the past they have given some time to parents for decision making. I think its just a hype they are trying to create by saying that admissions will be done within 24 hrs etc...
