Nursery Admissions in Delhi NCR 2025-26

Hello Friends,

I have a query related to Nursery Admissions for the upcoming session of 2015-2016:
My son is January, 2011 born. He will be 4 years and three months as on March 31, 2015. He was not eligible (due to age) for the session of 2014-2015 as in a lot of schools the eligibility age was 3.5 years as on March 31, 2014. Will my son be eligible for the session of 2015-2016. OR he will be considered overage as a he will be will be more than 4 years 3 months as on March 31, 2015.

Hi Venus,

For School were Criteria was 3 years plus as on 31st march.... you child was eligible this year.. i mean Batch starting April'2014....

For Schools where age criteria is 3.5 years as on 31st march.... you child will be eligible in the next year April'2015 batch......

I would suggest to keep trying for schools with Age 3+ for this year ... and if u get a chance in a school of ur preference where age criteria was 3.5 years in the next year... u can change over...

I agree that you dont have the comfort to apply in all schools this year.. and the same would be true for next year as well.....

@Kush: Thank you very much for the prompt reply.

As we are located in Noida, I tried for the session of 2014-15 in Cambridge Noida and Bal Bharati Noida, the only two schools where my son was eligible. My son couldn’t get through the interview process of Cambridge and Bal Bharati.

I missed the admission dates for Amity and Apeejay as they started very early in July.

As all admissions are closed for 2014-15 session, so I think I am left with only one option i.e., to try next year.

Hmm..

You missed APJ, Amity and quite a many more...

I guess most schools in noida have age criteria of 3+..

DPS Noida i know is 3.5 +....

Though a bit on the expensive side, I guess you can try GIIS... I would say dont waste an year and take a chance for next year....

There are many schools which may still take ur child for this year session... GIIS, Manav Rachna, Saphire etc..... If they are not the best... they are not worst either.... Get ur kid IN somewhere... and try next year.... for DPS N and schools in Noida that have 3.5+ age limit...

If you talk about leading schools in Noida... all of them have already closed admission for this year session....

If you are thinking for the next year.. 2015 session.. then keep looking for options starting Aug starting this year..

Some of the good names are - DPS, Amity, APJ, Summerville, Father Agnel, VishvaBharti, Lotus Valley, Shiv Nadar, GIIS and many more..

I am aware but 4 of my friends took admissiins in Amity apj and DPS noida in feb 2014

i can also try as know some one

pls give me some idea of orientation and dates of session starting of top schoolls(tentative) just session starting dates

All schools start session from 1st April to 10th April...

Orientations starts this week on wards..

Hi, My daughter's date of birth is 19th April 2011. I have an idea that she will be eligible for Nursery only in 2015.So that session will be called as 2015-2016.Is it correct? Moreover,please let me know where I can find details of schools and their fee structure and when the forms will be available to us.Please reply ASAP.Thanks

Yes, your daughter will be eligible for admission in 2015-2016 session... for all schools...

Diff schools have diff fees structure.

There is an excel file somewhere on this site... i dont remember where exactly..

@Kush Kapoor: Though I have admitted my son in class nursery in Mother’s Pride. I am not very sure whether that can be formed the basis of his admission to KG in main schools next year. Whether other schools validate Mother’s Pride nursery or not.

It should be Presidium and not Mothers Pride...

Yes.. Presidium is recognized as a school and ur kid should be eligible for KG next year in that case....
