very much/ approachable from my residence. I am confused ( May be like other parents) on the following issues : 1) Few of the Schools like GD Goenka -Sector 48, Amity Group, Ridge Valley are having the cut of age of 3+ Yrs ( As on 31March /1st April 2015 )For Nursery Admission and child will reach to class 1 in 5 yrs of age while the reputed school like Shriram, DPS-45, Sun World, Lotus Valley and New HDFC school etc are having 3.5 yrs/4+ criteria - so the child ( falling under my category 3+ yrs on a march 31 2015 ) have the two options - 1) get the admission in nursery to school following 3+ criteria or wait for complete 1 year for getting in good school Shriram etc. The former save ONE crucial year in child's life which can help in long run while child is preparing for competitive exams like IIT/ AIIMS or Commerce as child is ONE year ahead in academics. However the risk is the basic foundation of the child as the credentials of school who are accepting 3+ are not yet fully established - I am totally confused on this - May share your view/ perspective 2) how you rank the schools GD Goenka, Amity Group ( sector 43,46,Amity Global,Amity international),ridge Valley, Pathways, Millennium or any other school in ur opinion following 3+ criteria- by reading the threads I think GD Goenka is best ??? 3) If I decide to wait for a year then what are the pre school/ play school you recommends ( ranking)for my child - The Shriram Early Years,Pathways, GD Goenks, Lotus Valley, The Shriram GLOBAL pre, Pumpkin House, DPS sector 45, GEMS Modern Academy,Sunworld, Anand, Pallavan, mother's pride - galleria or Sushant apartment),Pumpkin House,Medhan,I Discoveri XSEEd,Modern Montessori International, DLF Phase I - request to share views/ opinion pl…

rinted one??
2. The Schools are asking for very specific address proofs = for example passport or driving lincence etc., My question is that a person living on rent has almost nothing (may be an Airtel landlong number from same address) but a rent agreement with the landlord; why is this not considered a address proof. I have been living in Delhi only for the last 46 (my father) years, but had had to change so many addresses; and now i am finally located in east delhi mayur vihar phase 1, but do not have nothing but rent agreement with me: what to do??
3. Some schools (like DPS) are asking for original birth certificate, is it feasible? I can give you my original birth certificate at the time of admission only and I cannot and do not want to give you my original through courier or speed post at all.
4. Many schools have not specified the full break up of 100 points at all.
5. The requirements on Online form and those at offline are different = for example Ahlcon International asks for P.O. or cash to be deposited if one does not have a Credit Card, but the School receptionist insists for a DD only.
6. The distance from school is calculated in terms of their bur route = very strange?…

Ryan is considered a good school in that area but i don't know much about this school. However today HT Survey has placed it in 10th rank in Southwest schools. Pls see http://epaper.hindustantimes.com/PUBLICATIONS/HT/HD/2010/12/26/inde...
The schools you are vying for is a good chunk of almost all reputed South & Central Delhi schools. I think its quite comprehensive. You can add Mount Carmel & Convent of Jesus & Mary in this list.
All the best.

ed notices to 20 schools in the city in relation to nursery admission. As per the notice, all the 20 schools included in the list will have to reserve 10% seats for the rural kids failing which strict action will be taken against the school authorities. Moreover, schools will also have to maintain a record book containing the details about the percentage of rural student intake into their respective schools which may be asked by the authorities in future. Deputy Chief Executive Officer Chandra Bhushan Singh said, “We have sent notices to 20 schools across the city on September 5. We are expecting response from them by September 7 which will bring transparency in our education system.
