f they are Lotus Valley students. Scary read:
“You should counsel your daughter and make her stronger for future”.. “supervisor who molested belongs to the Vatika agency, we will chuck hum out. Our responsibility is over.”
These are the words of Mrs Anita Malhotra, Principle and Mrs Ritu Jawa, Head Mistress, of the Lotus Valley School; one of the claimed top-schools in Gurugram.
*Would you listen to this nonsense and let things go, after your 4-year-old daughter has been molested in the middle of the school? Hell, no! What kind of a circus is this?*
The housekeeping supervisor at the school, on 29th Nov, stopped my daughter outside the auditorium and pressed her chest while repeatedly telling her not to tell this to mother. Can you imagine the plight of a little girl who is just learning about what bad-touch is? We called the police, they called the SHO. My daughter recognized that man over and over again, pointing her finger at him. Upon checking the CCTV footage, we could clearly see lot of male staff near the auditorium (both in and out)... male security guards, male housekeeping staff.. which we were told that the school only allows female staff inside where the kids are.. above all, when we reached the place where the incident happened, we were told that the CCTV footage is not available for that corridor, as the camera is facing the other way.. what nonsense!!
They were just trying to brush the whole matter under the carpet by just suspending this sick animal and having the nerve to pretend as if every girl is destined to go through this shit. When we called up for help from our circle, fortunately we got one who is member in human rights council and renowned lawyer and media connect.. we almost called up media, but it is only because of the harassment it would have caused our daughter that we decided against it. My kid will not set foot in this school again, but I want to ask, is the rest of the world only relieved that this did not happen to any other child? My child spoke, a lot of others would not have. Can you imagine what would have happened if that man had taken her elsewhere? What kind of a sick world do we live in? I am disgusted. I urge you all to share this as much as you can.

nd-a-half, putting parents in a tough spot. Schools which admit children who are three years of age on March 31, 2016, include Amity International in Sector 43 and GD Goenka Public School in Sector 48, among others. Neha Verma, admission coordinator at GD Goenka, said, "We've kept three years as the criterion as it is the norm followed in all Delhi schools." Schools which have three years and six months as their age cutoff, include The Shri Ram School, The Heritage School, Shikshanter, Sun City World School, Lotus Valley International School, DAV Public School, Salwan Public School and Delhi Public School in Sector 45. "We want slightly more mature children in class, which is why we have kept three-and-a-half years as the age criteria," said Anita Malhotra, principal of Lotus Valley International School. Arti Chopra, the principal of Amity International School, said, "There is no uniform rule, so schools in Gurgaon can decide their age criterion independently. There should be no confusion among parents, though, as this is clearly mentioned in admission forms." The disparity in age criterion, though, has left parents confused. Vijay Aggarwal, a resident of South City-II who is seeking admission for his son born on November 15, 2012, said, "My son will be three years and four months on March 31 next year. I can apply to some schools, but most good ones will disqualify him as he would be younger by 45 days as per their criterion. I can't afford to waste a year to apply for one of these schools." Sumit Vohra, who runs a website on nursery admissions in NCR, said, "Many parents cannot get their kids admitted to the desired school due to the age criteria. If they wait for the next year, their child is not eligible in schools such as Amity, which have four years as the upper cut-off age for nursery admissions. More than 1,500 schools in Delhi follow an uniform criteria of three years. Why can't the 100-150-odd schools in Gurgaon do the same?"

Parents are requested to update with confirmed info …
ria set by the schools for Nursery is 3.6 years i.e. a child should be of atleast 3.6 yrs by 31st March or 1st April of the year for whch you are seeking admission i.e. if you wants your kids to get admission in session 2014-2015, then your child should have atleats 3.6 yrs of age by 31st March,14 /1st April,14. Although some schools may have little bit of relaxation in age i.e. by 10-15 days depending on the schools.
There is one catch in above criteria that only schools who have classes like Prenursery>Nursery>KG>1st class have above age criteria whereas school by Blue Bell where they follow Nursery>LKG>UKG>1st class their age limit for Nursery is 2.9 yrs, LKG its 3.9 yrs, UKG its 4.9 yrs & so on.
Current situation : Now most of the schools like DPS, DAV, SH,Lotus Valley, Amity have already closed their admission (officially). However there may be some other schools who might be doing admission even now like Manav Rachna, G.D.Goenka Public, Little MIllenium, Blue Bell (please verify), Ridge Valley, Gurugram Public school, Mothers Pride etc. for which you may get in touch with the respective schools.
Thanks.
