I applied for class nursery in respect of my ward in dps vasant vihar. they called me last week for distance verification. they have confirmed my home distance on google map and asked me to locate the area on Google map.

Are schools really doing the verification of Distance from school which Applicants are filling in their forms

Just checked DPS list of all the registered candidates(EOK and Vasant Vihar), I was surprised to see that for the same area some applicants are using within 1km option and other are using beyond 1km option(which is impacting the overall points which the candiates are getting based on distance.)

My question to all is that, will the school be doing the verificaiton on this, or they will simply select the candidates based on what ever they had filled in their forms and create the final…
