ekta me too have applied 18 schools not got admission in 14 schools same 4 schools list waiting....if not wait for some schools for sceond list....but problem is this maximum schools pgiving waiting lists side by side and many of them are saying no second list...in that case what we can do...?i don't know..

ok the schools wala say from next year they will change the point system to make it more transparent and relook at criteria for girl chils/first child/transfer cases etc.......

This is pretty unfair to say the least...if they did not want to change anything then what was this whole drama for? We were actually happier before as we had more or less accepted the existing system. What did they achieve by giving false hopes to parents like us who were expecting to have a more fairer system in place?

I have failed to get admission in any school in my area even within 2 kms radius.  In fact In Somerville, we scored 0 points...so funny.... Anyways have got my admitted to Presidium as it was the only option.

You are not alone Ekta, me too applied in 18 schools but it just does not make a difference unless you have alumuni/sibling/transfer points....you cannot get your kid a seat in a decent enough school

nobody wants his child to send in far located schools,, but if nearby schools r nt taking admissions only there wher to dump the kido

But Ekta, simply applying in any school does not help...our child needs a school that is good in academics, values, discipline and extra curricular activities. If any school would do then MCD bhi toh hai....After all the child's entire life depends on what kind of schooling he gets....its a foundation and putting him just in any school for the heck of it is a waste. I beggers can't be choosers yet....this is my view
