I really do not know why the hell we have Quotas and Point Systems everywhere.

As now government and everyone in this society thinks that Education is very basic need and right of every child in this society poor or rich then there should be no point system and no quotas at all.

And there should only be one rule for all and that is simple plain draw for all kids residing within 8 kms

Same draw for all should be there in all schools as education is the basic right for all children and chance should be given to all in equal respect irrespective of points or quotas.

Every Year people went through this trouble and mess and forget it once they get some good seat in a school due to luck but it is AN guys and Mr. Vohra who are taking this pain and taking all the parent's points forward to the authorities. So, obviously AN Team and Mr. Vohra are doing a great job but we do not have any reason of why do we have a point system ?

As Point Systems are giving benefits only to few hundreds but here we are in ten thousands every year for a zone if I say [whether 8 or whether 6 kms] who want to send our kids too in good schools so it should be a pure luck situation for all which actually justify the procedure and process.

isnt it slightly late in the year when will school take admission whn will the year start  r we going to go to court for everything

Why we all are now saying for change in point system. If anybody has some objection in some points criteria that should be raised beforehand at the time of announcement of Points criteria. We should not complicate the system now & think to smoothen the process.

With new guidelines, will delay the process. Any new guidelines like for First child, are you going to fill forms again b'coz as I remember every school does not have this option in their form. Why should we put schools again under scrutiny of applications & taking time & releasing lists.

I strongly feel draw between 70 pointers who were even not getting chance for draw, now should get with Transfer cases as 70 pointers for remaining seats.

Now the DoE should come with a new guideline by revisising this point system.In my opinion they should  remove the transfore , alluminai points and  reduce the sibbling points to 10 and these points are to shared  in other parameter like  the prefereces to 1st Chield  and the qualification of Parents OR keep the distance as one parameter and go for the draw for all irespctive of other things.

I don't think now is the point of changing the game again & putting again schools under new processes. All selected candidates under draw of lot except Transfer cases should be granted admission. For remaining seats, the draw should be held between rest of applicants including Transfer cases. Just see since 21st Jan to today, 27 Feb, we all are still at Stage 1. Every year, by this time (end Feb), the admission processes get closed & children started going to school by last week of March.

This will only help & pray that all this will get over by first week of March.

Shweta .. there is not much confirmed news but as per understanding in Court Redraw will be done again for 75 pointers (transfer) and 70 pointers.

Hope the notification come soon.......

We all 70 pointers are masses... and point system is there to put one kid an edge over other.. That wld remain always and not all 70 pointers can be happy... For Admmissions some criteria needs to be defined... Earlier Child interviews were there for selection..got scrapped!! Parents Interview..Got Scrapped... Point System... Till date changing...!!!How many Points wld be scrapped... Earlier Transfer...and now fight for alumini then next would be sibling...!!!Then some other realization...

Either Centralize the system...or accept some other kids will have edge over us..!!!
