My question is whether minority schools also follow this or they are independent of anything.

good job done by Mr. Vohra. Thanks a lot to him.i think alumini points should be cancelled. what is the logic behind this?? everybody have equal right of addmission in school.

SVIS has already deferred their list.

what now for everyone whose children had got selected .. is it really fair at this stage there is always two sides to a coin why should there be points for a girl child why such high points for sibling can we question all this ... i am sorry but for everyone whose names were not on the list but a redraw is so unfair on people who did get selected . i may sound selfish but what if again everyone with 70 points dont get selected will they start crying foul again

Lalita I totally agree with you on distance slab. My son is studying in tagore international vasant vihar. I stay 9.2 km away from school but my daughter gets only 20 points for sibling and hence does not even qualify for the draw of girl child. I m even disturbed abt the discrepency arising because of aerial distance and on road distance. Tagore is the only school following road distance. Dps vv and shriram vv both called us for the draw. I dont know who to ask for help

Don't know how many will agree but
1. quota for differently abled n disadvantaged shud be there.
2. EWS quota shud be scrapped but shud they make it into the list by points or DOL like everyone else, n if they can produce the required documents their fees shud be exempted.
3. siblings and alumni points (siblings n alumni get benefit in only one school but first born will get points for all schools it will become like the transfer scenario)
4. Distance has to slabbed- 1-3km, 3-5km, 5-7km 7-10km
5. Schools bear the cost of EWS students so a smaller management quota shud exist to cater for areas not having good schools or parents who can afford to pay management fees n r keen on certain specific schools.
- give some space to all otherwise we Indian unfortunately will try the jugaad way.

I have admission of my only child right now... Why should i suffer coz of Sibling 20 Points.. Agree sibling benefit should be given but NOT 20 points please.... Where the first born child parents go???Is it my fault i dont have twins!!! Isint this should also be the case of fight as well!!!!

Further, me and my husband both are alumini of same school why not getting double points?? We could have got 5 points each in 2 different schools.. then y not double points in one school??

There are too many flaws in the whole system!! Mr. Vohra/Moderator kindly reply..FIGHT FOR EACH CAUSE!!!
