What I knw is there are 240 approx seats in total and they used to shortlist 500-600 applicants

On of my friend, whose ward selected last year, told me tat there were 566 applicants selected last year (2016-2017 session) but again the source is word of mouth.

Hello Mr Ashish..what is your area of residence.Just trying to figure out the criteria as to why father agnel school not shortlisted.

Yup I think locality and distance from school is a major point taken into consideration while selection.

Lets explore it more :)

I live in sector 62 only, yet my application has not been selected

Aditi, I am in sector-122, not selected...also few parents in sec-119 are not selected is what I know...definitely the distance criteria

not distance.. as the people living in Sec-62 hv not been shortlisted either.

NOTE: FR. AGNEL SCHOOL IS A CHRISTIAN MINORITY SCHOOL AND PREFERENCE IS GIVEN TO CHRISTIANS, IF THEY MEET THE REQUIREMENTS.
NEIGHBOURHOOD APPLICANTS TOO WILL BE GIVEN PRIORITY.
50% OF SIBLINGS WILL BE ADMITTED ON PREFERENTIAL BASIS AS WELL AS CHILDREN OF THE ALUMNI.

I put up at sector 61... Not shortlisted

I put up in indirapuram and even school bus comes to our society.. I think its not based on location
