Yeah, I also heard the same.
Such schools don't even take payment by cheque. They do give receipts for cash payment, but taking fees in cash is sure-shot way for schools for admission confirmation. Schools are apprehensive that parents can block cheque/DD after giving it to school.
Some schools even take original birth certificate of kids for admission confirmation. This is just a way to prevent parents from trying in other schools. They release original birth certificate only when session starts in April.

Sakshi,
Thanks for your prompt response and clarifying that losing 1 year at TSMS / SN would not outweigh the benefits of attending these schools.
We missed out in the rush to DPSN, AIS Noida etc because they surprisingly started admission too early. Literally, they started admission almost the time, the new nursery would have started attending classes.
We now have interactions scheduled for LVIS and TSMS. We already have a concern for age in TSMS, which you have addressed and as I read on this forum, LVIS does not have outstanding reputation.
I also spoke at DPS 132 and their admissions are still undergoing. They told me that they would do the interaction at the time of form submission itself. Do you suggest is it a good try and whether its admissions would be available later as well? May be till end of next week? Also, would DPS 132 would be worth blocking if one were to compare with East Delhi schools like Ahlcon and similarly placed delhi schools. We live in Vasundhara Enclave and expressway and Mayur Vihar would take the same commuting time.
I understand from your responses that admissions in Mayoor, Genesis Global, Gyanshree etc may still be available till March. Let me know if my understanding is correct. I dont want to unnecessary in anxiety block huge amounts in any of these schools if the seats would be available after Delhi admissions.
Also would appreciate if you can also confirm if Delhi schools like the likes of Ahlcon or Sommerville are better than Mayoor, Genesis Global, Gyanshree or one should take up a seat in any of these??
regards
