Hello Shakshi and Parents on this Forum,

My son got selected in Amity, Sector 44. However, we (me and my wife) are more interested in new age school education.

We liked Shiv Nadar School and willing to apply for the same. Seems like shiv nadar school has limited seats and  lottery system.

Any insight of these schools. I know we can not compare Amity with Shiv nadar. However, will you please suggest us how to make choice between these two.

Block your seat in Amity.

Try in SN as it is quite sought after for Holistic development.

But they do screening and limited seats.

Take final call after Results of SN.

During 1st interaction:

There were 2 senior teachers in a room, one for parents and one for the child. First, they gave a form to fill and they asked for all the documents as per the list and then ask some questions from the parents like :

why Appejay, do you prefer a non AC school, what do you expect from the school, questions on parents profile, who will take care of the child if both parents are working, what values do you want to see in your child and some more questions similar to that

The other teacher was trying to involve the child in coloring, puzzles, ask to recite a rhyme etc. similar to other schools

But I find teacherssbehaviour was quite good, all the arrangements were systematic, so parents don't  have to wait for long, there was some refreshments for parents and child and also toys and swings for the child to play. 

Overall the whole process take 20-25 min after entering the school which was quite satisfiable. 

Whatever the feedback we are receiving through twitter about the fees is a separate thing. I have visited almost all the traditional schools of Noida during this admission process but I find the decorum, arrangement and the behaviour of teachers far better than other schools.
