@ Parul - am also in 2 minds about TSMS. the fee is high and the school has more built up area than play or open area I feel. What do you mean by take a pic and tag on fb? Was this during your interview process ?

Yes..during kid interaction round. They wanted parents to have a pic with their child with TSMS written on the board.And then put on FB and tag the school if parents want.

I mean its nothing worth to mention as a negative, but still did not like it much

I would like parents to please clarify what they found good about Khaitan?
My daughter also got selected there, but somehow we didn't like it.

The teachers were not impressive, not nicely dressed neither speaking in English.The receptionist there too created a negative impact.

Though even I find many parents praising Khaitan, but I would like to understand what is so outstanding there? 1) Splash pool and the toy train 2) And the fact that infrastructure is better than traditional schools with low fees, so paying only a bit more here is a better choice.

Anything else?

i liked the security point... i myself noticed they have lots of people(guards and ayas) around keeping an eye.. also i noticed this on a surprise visit to the school. This point was also raised by their director during interaction that they dnt have cctv everywhere but people are always around.

Also i talked to 3 parents and overall review was that extra co curricular activities are considered important. Also after interactions i do not think management is money minded there.

DPS is also a traditional school (good infrastructure) with fees more than khaitan ( with more attention on extra co curricular activities instead of in DPS where 70-80% only academics is given preference.)

so above statement is completely wrong.

DPSN > Somerville >TSMS for me
For me it was very hard to decide between 1st two but after talking to may parents decided on 1st.

TSMS was not on my list.

Thanks Megha .. I thought the same. But somehow I believe DPSN is too much academic but so is Somerville . Somerville wasn't convincing because I found the school very stuffy- very cramped. But I really want to close mission admission now . We have been called for interaction in TSMS on Monday - maybe will skip to avoid any further confusion :-)

Your kid got selected in DPSN and Somerville both?
We have taken admission in DPSN.
