Hi, I have submitted form at somerville greater noida on 17.09.2011 and till date nothing is received of heard from somerville greater noida regarding interaction. can anybody let me know if they have received or heard something from somerville.

....fellow parents..you all have shared well thought provoking views. Yes it is not a matter of proving someone more intelligent or fortunate than the other...the schools are not giving clear cut criteria for shortlisting or rejection..and merely on basis of what has been filled in the registration form the fate of one child is decided to be in or out...this is not a transparent process as on one side it gives pain to someone without his/her any fault and on other it unnecessarily makes someone to beleive of being a more favouravily preferred one...schools may say that it is difficult for them to call everyone for interaction..or they may claim to have followed a random process..but nothing comes out crystal clear which raises further doubts on the parents...we hope that in coming times schools shall be more introspective and create a level playing field for each and every eligible child to have an equal chance to show his/her talen if required so...

Next...parents have said true that good schooling is just one aspect for good education...but ultimately it is the confluence of lot many factors enabling a favourable atomosphere for the child to grow at home, at school, at neighourhood and then in the society at large...

Good education makes oneself humble..so parents must choose a school which can give a sense of comfort into the child where he/she is ready to go in and happy when he/she comes out..the so called Brand is just for we parents to brag about 'coz of peer pressure..little child does not bother for the brand..it is the quality of time one puts into moulding his/her child that does matter...no Day Care can bring a sense of belonging to the kid than the own parents' care...the child learns in his/her natural enviornment..he/she is very much inquisitive..parents are best to satiate his/her queries and push him/her to think and ask for more...similar way the school of our choice should also allow our kid to be a natural thinker and a versatile doer than be a standaridised rote leraner..

One of the best way i have seen while judging any school is asking parents how their Parents-Teachers Meeting (PTM) went about..i have personally seen in some good approach schools the teachers give best of the attention and enough time to the parents concerned and both of them discuss for the betterment of the child in a mutual way...while in some schools the teachers are ready to complain about the playful mischiefs of the kid and the parents are ready to crib about the school...pls note when both stakeholders (teachers & parents) of the kid are aligned and have the same wavelength of the thought---the child gets the best of enviornment to prosper...

"Good School---at the end of everyday you see your kid coming to home happily saying that his/her day was fantastic at the school...and the next morning he/she is so eager to wake up and get ready for a new day in the school...Very important aspect 'coz the child spends more time of his awakening with the teachers than his/her parents during his entire age of schooling."

To bathe his hands and comb his hair

Mr. Bij, kindly let me know which school is better Bal Bharti Noida or Ryan International Noida and why?

hi meenakshi ji,

both Ryan & BBPS are establsihed Noida schools started in the same year, 1992.They can be rated at the same gradient as being good options after the top 5-6 other schools in Noida. Academics is above average (however at higher classes Ryan has slight advantage by giving good 10th and 12th results) and exposure to sports & extra curriculars is good. Ryan on one hand has ample imfrastructure and fosters all round performance, then BBPS on other hand has good education system in the Prep classess (MontI&II) and emplys Educomp Smart Boards in sr. classes.

Pls take your own final decision after taking the disatnce criteria from your residence into consideration as both are equally good and comparable to each other.

Mr Bij - Hope are you enjoying your weekend. I need a help from you. My child is selected in Ryan Noida where last date of submission of non refundable fees (Rs. 50000) is October 4 and I have also applied in DPSGhaziabad Meerut Road where interaction list would come on October 4. Now i would like to know your views about Ryan noida and DPSGhaziabad Meerut Road and what would you suggest me here to submit the fees in Ryan or not.
