Address proof documents

Hi, I would like to know which documents are accepted as residential proof other than passport & adhar card. Will the rent contract also work as a residence proof?

Generally

Voter I-Card (EPIC) of any of the parents, Domicile Certificate of the child or of his/ her parents/passport/Aadhaar card/UID card issued in the name of any the parents/ Ration card Issued in the name of parents (Mother/Father having name of child).
latest paid Electricity Bill/ MTNL Bill/ water Bill/ Passport in the name of any of the parents or child and Lease deed/Court registered rental lease dead at least 6 months old)

If you see latest DOE guidelines for 2014-15 (copied from Doe notification dated Jan 11 2013 ) Rental lease deed is not included but school have been asked to add more address proof's.

so its school specific ( see excel sheet you might get it in dps vk or rkp and many other schools ) schools want to make it sure that the lease deed is genuine.please see today's article by Mr Vohra as till last year many school did not accept any lease deed. so after his letter/complaint to Director DOE this 11 Jan 2013 notification after issued with some other complaints.

Bank account details can be used for address prof if it is from government bank??

hello...

I have a rent aggrement(6 months old) only as the address proof.... other adhar card,voter I card,passport, childs birth certificate are of my permanent (in laws ) house...will this be an enough criteria for getting distance points....any other certificate that is needed plz specify????

To be on safer side get MTNL phone installed. as all school do not accept rental lease deed.

hi ..i am staying at rental accomodation in lajpat nagar from last 2 years and i have the rent agreement notary attested ..will it works as address proof .

All other documenrs i have belongs to diffrent address (not in delhi)

Please suggest as i think we have very less time for installation of MTNL and getting the bills
