The city government Wednesday informed the Delhi High Court that it has scraped the five additional points to be given to children of parents who come under the inter-state transfer category in nursery admissions. The department of education informed Justice Manmohan that it carried out a survey in 58 leading private schools in the city and found massive misuse of of the transfer points. A notification in this regard will come Thursday. In December last year, Lt. Governor Najeeb Jung set down new nursery admission norms in which five points were to be allotted in inter-state transfer cases.

The Delhi government Wednesday informed the Delhi High Court that it has scraped the five additional points to be given to children of parents who come under the inter-state transfer category in nursery admissions.

The department of education informed Justice Manmohan that it carried out a survey in 58 leading private schools in the city and found massive misuse of the transfer points. A notification in this regard will be released on Thursday.

In December last year, Lt. Governor Najeeb Jung set down new nursery admission norms in which five points were allotted to inter-state transfer cases for the admissions.

Thanks to all bt in my child there is no chance , I applied in around 40 schools bt my child name does not come in draw or in waiting list . I am very depress..... Is it relief my situation or not . AN team please suggest me ..

There should be neither transfer points nor alumni points, only sibling points for physically handicap brother/sister(s) has to be there in Ideal School hiring system for equal neighborhood opportunity to our innocent kids at entry level who even don't learn anything when born live from mother.

Now, 5 points should be given for first child otherwise Points for Sibling/Alumni should be discarded. Mr. Vohra kindly help.

Time has come to review this Point System for the Nursery Admission. Points should be given for the parents' education as well as if mother is in the Job.

Why Points are given against Alumni and Sibling??? It should be abolished. Equal opportunity should be given to all children based upon the background of their Parents' education.

There should be Points for Neighborhood, first child as well as for the parents' education. Points for other factors should be discarded.

Mr. Vohra kindly consider this and take up the matter to the Competent Authority.

Anyway its Govt policy but we think It should be abolished. Equal opportunity should be given to all children. Since Raja ka beta Raja concept nahi chalna chayia. One more thing since God has not made any difference among children then who are we? Points for other factors should be discarded. Through this plateform, I request all of you to take up the matter to the Competent Authority before issuing of new guideliness.

Thanks to this forum. 

Should we expect now that schools who have already conducted draw of lots and did not consider 70 point scoring applicants will do a fresh draw of lots.

I think there should be minimum %age of seats for all General category applicants scoring 70 points. All applicants should be given opportunity to compete.

only Sibling points and EWS/ DG quota SHOULD BE THERE

please clarify logic behind 5% girls quota...or alumini...or first born

I am a mother of first born girl child but I am not in favor of any partiality with any kid...all kids are equal...please don't differentiate them at this stage.

I had applied for 40+ schools but still could not have justified draw opportunity led even not secured admission in just 4 schools because 70 pointer draw conducted either just for few seats or waiting seats only. Thank God to save my innocent son boot up at entry level of schools
