there shouldn't be any redraw for selected 70 pointers from the draw earlier ....guys lets fight and raise our voice now, before its too late ....we got an equal chance like 75 pointers ..whose 5 points are scrapped now...we did select in a draw with few seat available as in earlier scenario ...all 80% of the seats were filled by either alumni or tc or siblings...now tc will get a chance to participate in those seats which have been vacant by them and other seats be filled by alumni , sibling or selected 70 pointers so they will get and equal opportunity ....y should all the seats which are confirmed by 70 pointers should be vacant and have them go through the torture of redraw again.....and 70 pointers who were not selected will have another chance to try their luck....don't be unfair to our children whose destiny is tested once...we are not ready to let our selected seat go...guys lets fight if the order is not in our favor tom....

tomorrow is the judgement. HC observations indicate towards a redraw.
please let me know how should be go about it ...we should all join hands and not let this thing happen....
totally agree.
agreed lets find a solution and fight for it ...do we have to go to consumer court for a plea if its against us....????
You cannot approach a consumer court for two reasons:
a) High Court is a superior court and its decision cannot be called into question into a consumer forum.
b) Parents seeking admission of their children are not covered under the ambit of 'consumer' as defined in the Consumer Protection Act.
The best course of action for those impacted by the decision that may come is to approach the single judge bench that is hearing the case (correct me if it's not a single judge bench) and request it to allow them become a party in the ongoing case and present their arguments. In case of adverse decision, you have an option to approach the double bench of the High Court and thereafter SC. That, to my mind, is the legal remedy for anyone feeling they would be adversely affected.
Delhi High Court have to be approached by tomorrow.
When the notification was published on 18/12/2013, at that time, there was advantage for 75 pointers and they got the majority of seats. Consequently we 70 pointers were left with only remaining few seats. Draws happened and some of us 70 pointers got lucky to get the seat.
Due to one reason or other, 5 points were scrapped and they (75 pointers) were put in 70 pointer basket.
Due to wrong doing of 75 pointers or DOE notification, whatever it may be, why we (70 pointers) should suffer?
To summarise it, I want to say that we 70 pointers were at the same platform as now they (previous 75 pointers) are.
Hence we should definitely go to court, if decision does not comes in our favour.
