Do not want to add surname with child name in Birth Certificate

Sakshi & Latha Mam, I need your advice because my divorce case is still running in the court nothing is finalized but I do not want to add surname with my kid name on his birth Certificate...Is it possible to get admission with this kind of birth Certificate.....or it is necessary to have a father's surname....My voter id card &  all other documents have my maternal surname not of my husbands...

If surname is already included in Birth Certificate then you should go for correction. You have to apply for correction and remove the surname.

If only name is entered no problem you can apply with the same name. A surname is not compulsory.
