Nursery Admissions in Delhi NCR 2025-26

My view point here, parents are not justifying that Salwan is fair..we are still sharing information in this group to understand their process.....and not making any judgements :).... I expected that their timelines would be same ....but when you closely look at dates shared by parents..it was proved that it is not so!..rest we all are in the same boat and bearing this non-systematic 'System' that we are in for.

I agree with you so that means "No school is transparent" and more sought after schools come under scrutiny.

Yes, you are absolutely right in saying that no schools are completely transparent because nowadays education system has become more of a business to larger extent as compared to what it use to be earlier.

Regarding point system,interaction etc. it was, is & will allways be confusing to all parents like you,me or anybody else till the time system gets transparent & for that to happen each schools should be mandated to ensure following are mentioned very clearly in schools website/admission related advertisement :

a) Age limit to be freezed for every single class by governing body / authority like CBSE which in this case seems not to be bothered at all

b) Eligibility criteria

c) Fee structure

d) Selection criteria

Once all this happens, then only things may gets simplified otherwise the similar situation will keep happening again & again.

And i too believe that in this forum, no parents are trying to support any school as such. Infact its more of a sharing forum where we all can share our thoughts and rest depends on others to take decision based on their own thinking & belief.

@Manish: From outside to me it 'appears' so as you said and most probably that is truth as schools are now for business.

There are various ways they handle the process..starting from releasing of forms. I am discovering complexities at each stage ..with no independent control assuring us that they do what they say. There needs to be a mechanism on this to ensure that the commercial aspects and ease do not become the supreme drivers of Education. There needs to a balance in their commercial aspirations/marketting and what they serve to the society.

@Harihar, you raised some very important points that should be addressed to get house in order.

Yah you are right. Infact if you have seen earlier, I requested Sakshi also to let us know how & what can be done in this regard, so that these issues does not come again year by year as already happening since long time.

Its a kind of monopoly of almost all major schools on which they plan with sentiments of parents.

Infact, I was just asking Sakshi te see if there is any possibility to make a forum of all moderators & parents ( whose children have got admission + parents whose haven't got admission + parents who may have to get admission next year ) & together we may raise this concern to some governing body as otherwise these things will keep on happening. Afterall there has to be a day when all this should end, then why not now ! However Sakshi also confirmed that Mr.Vohra has been trying to do so but i felt that may be his voice did not have parents strength because as soon as parents gets admission, they forget all these hassles & things lie then & there only in similar condition & schools too keep enjoying all this stuff.

I am sure if a voice is raised in strength in right way , things will surely change in coming times.

You must have heard, " Kaam tho zaroor hoga, par jugat lagani hogi "...... so strength lies in unity.

Hi Sakshi,

Can you please provide feedback on SHIV NADAR ,Gurgaon branch in terms of infrastructure, extra-curicular,academics,teachers? Have heard some negative feedback on quality of food they provide the children. Have anyone in the forum heard on the same. My daughter's name is there in the confirmed list but am skeptical to go for it or not.
