Pooja

Not at all

Where are sought after schools like Shiv Nadar /Pathways/ Gd Goenka

Many parents dont even fill forms of few schools as of list mentioned above
Pls avoid as most of surveys are paid-incomplete or manipulated n shikshanter opened admission twice within one month 2 years back ...even this year there late admission link for 2016 2017 is there on website as of today. For example maruti kunj n many more wont come in top 25 also as per parents feedback
We dont endorse surveys

Only genuine feedback is parents feedback
Dr Shayama chona head of lotus valley is part of education world who does max surveys.

Why surveys come at the time of admission only
Please see last year query regarding the same

Food for thought..Surveys rate teching standard s of schools
Do those representative of survey team sit in class of every subject techer when they rate reaching standard and do assessment as only delhi ncr have private school 5000 schools n they do it for pan india level

Only surveys which show cbse results figure or any data validated by any board is correct

Pooja

I totally disagree.

The influence that ranking systems conducted by private firms has led many to worry that schools will change policies just to improve their rank, and that prospective parents have become too reliant on an oversimplified measure of quality.

Schools simply adjusting policies to manipulate their data and increase their rank without necessarily improving the quality of the education they're offering.

For eg student teacher ratio will be less in lower classes and swell in higher classes. Survey take into account just the tuition fee and development fee. How can they get find out the enormous other funds collected by the schools through their trusts? Survey people visit a school collect data from the staffs working there. Schools may be equipped with digital learning but how to find out how it is applied and hours used by them. Many schools show lot of indoor and outdoor activities and facilities. Does the money collected by few schools for different activities taken into account?

The ranking systems still suffer from methodological flaws. The data collected which most systems base their measurements is self-reported by the institutions they are measuring. so self reported data is often manipulated.

Quality of education cannot be measured just by survey with such self-reported data. Parents and students feedback is the greatest asset and that AN.com can provide in choosing a school.
