What is a good school???

We the parents here are worried that this year our kid will get a seat in so called good school(and next year its will be a worry of next set of parents )

I want to discuss with all the parents here @ an.com about what constitute a good school:

Plez give your opinion in the light that most of the parents i know have to give private tutoring to there kids as they reach to senior classes .... no matter how much good and best school they are admitted to..

Good for Selected Students

Suppose 10 students of 75% [selected] were cancelled in a school and a school contains 50 total seats than for those 10 students 50 chances should be given by opening a draw in which all students will there but admission should be given to those for only 75% means 10 students , After that remaining seats will open for all according to their selection like if 2 [75%] are selected than remaining will be 8 . i think in this way we will do a better justice for all

refund of full school fee from the schools who have completed the admissions way before the first list!!!

as earlier a notification (Revised schedule) came for the first list to be displayed on 15th of march, many of the minority schools completed the admissions way before that date (sticking to their first schedule-which is wrong if they don't obey the DoE schedule-but they did so because they were minority schools). i had to take admission in that school for securing a single seat i got being a 70 pointer. i was planning to cancel that admission if later i got admission in a better school. now… Continue

Parents should stop Companining now after Transfer removal

Hi Mr Vohra,

I was a GENUINE TRANSFER CASE and still I filed in 44 schools and with transfer points I had just got confirmation from just 2 schools despite many schools came out with their list. Now TRANSFER points are CANCELLED and I am back to square one.

But I realised Parents are still complaining which really means the whole issue was COOKEDUP that transfer cases have created Issues. It was only a perception, even if transfer case have got confirmation from more than 1…
