HC should also clarify guidelines for 'Minority' schools like Sardar Patel

The High Court also needs to clarify guidelines for 'minority' schools like Sardar Patel Vidyalaya. The admission process of this school is completely opaque. The don't have any guidelines for who qualifies under the 'Gujarati' category. Neither do they specify what their 'Inclusive Education' category is.

Even for the General category they don't put out a list of points that students they have admitted have got.

Only one dissatisfied parent can hold the admission for all the Nursery Kids?

Hi All,

I have been part of the Nursery admission process this year. I have now started getting very anxious to ask this simple question, that after the Hon'bl High Court Order of 24th March which we all are awaiting, if someone does not like it can he again go on and file an objection against it and stretch the future of all the nursery kids????????????????????

Criteria adopted by Minority schools

Minority schools are adopting their own criteria as they have high court stay on criteria decided for open seats. But even they are not following their own criteria. Most of the minority schools gave 40 or 50 point for 500 mtrs. distance. But even they are not following their own criteria. they put even 2 kms in 50 mtr and gave full points. Why should Inter-state transfer cases get double benefit? Don't you think its wrong?

All parents who thinks that inter state transfer point should not be considered please comment on this blog post . Why govt is giving more preference to interstate cases as they already getting 70 points for locality.

We are creating majority against the high court stay for 24 march if they give order in favour of interstate transfer cases we can be together at that point and fight against their ruling.

redraw of lots of montfort school,ashok vihar on 12 march

same registration number repeated in single draw. all parents revolted but principal claim back to parents that somebody put a photocopy of slip . i want to ask principal how an absent parent can photostat the slip and put it into infact slips of absenties were put by school only

Why to go for a fresh draw for all @ 70 pointers?????

I guess, few of the parents are getting biased with parents who were simply waiting to hear their wards names in any school's list since beginning of the admission process and draw process. They simply went to attend the draw sessions whenever they were called in different schools. But the irony was their wards' names never came in to the loud announcements even.
