Nursery Admissions in Delhi NCR 2025-26

No documents required. I called school this afternoon and they confirm no documents required. Presence of Parents and child is mandate and also 500 rs in cash.

For Khaitan, REGISTRATION ACKNOWLEDGEMENT RECEIPT is mandatory.

I found the below checklist in their site.

4 Photographs of the child
Parent's photograph (2 each)
Birth Certificate of the child

Nisha, I think in their guidelines, they have mentioned about docs required. Have you already appeared for interaction and no docs were asked from you?

DPS Sector 30 Noida Interaction Details

Our interaction was supposed to start at 9:30 AM Tuesday, which was delayed and started around 10-10:15.

The entire interaction was divided into 5 steps and took around 2 hrs to complete -

Step 1: Registration

All parents were required to queue up to provide the documents (birth certificate, address proof, childs aadhaar, 2 photos of child, 1 photo each of parents)
A payment of 2000 was taken and a receipt given in return
A name tag was given to pin up onto the childs T-Shirt

Step 2: Questionnaire

The parents were then asked to show the registration slip on another desk
A questionnaire with 2 questions was then given to fill up
We got questions - how joint families helped in childs development & if the child is injured in school, what will you do.
We are pretty sure that these questions will change for upcoming interactions, but nevertheless.

Step 3: Kids interaction part I

While the parents were filling the questionnaire, the kids were called alone for first part of the interaction
The kid was given a colouring assignment in this part

Step 4: Kids interaction part II

After a while, one of the parents was called to join the kid for further questions
These questions involved things like - narrate a rhyme, shape/animal puzzle, identify fruits/vegetables, randomly they would ask about the color of things around
One particular question was to put colored rings in alternate sections. My kid didn't know what alternate meant, so thought in general to mention this.

Step 5: Principals interaction

Post the kids interactions, we were taken into an auditorium to sit and wait
A group of 7/8 parents were then called for principals interaction
The principal was very clear to keep our introduction very brief and crisp
We introduced ourselves and walked out

Its a somewhat longer than expected process, so make sure you carry something to eat for the child. Although DPS had made arrangements to buy some refreshments on the campus. Also, parking is an issue, so try to avoid driving your own car to the venue.
