Nursery Admissions in Delhi NCR 2024-25

Hi all,

I also believe that this entire nursery admission process is overrated. I filled forms for only three schools, Khaitan, VB and somerville 22. My daughter got through in Khaitan and VB but i am still wondering about the criteria Somerville 22 might be using for shortlisting since i did not get a call for interaction. My daughter will be 3 years and one month when she starts schooling I am also concerned about her age as i think she is too small for all this. But I agree with Mr. Dwij that next year she will be 4+ for nursery admission and most schools might not allow admission in nursery class, Hence, I secured her admission in VB (timing of school for nursery class starting from 9 a.m. and traditional school) cuz i think that i might waste an entire year waiting for the right age for nursery admissions.

I also believe 3 years is very early for a child to start school. I was hoping to send my child to pre nursery but was disappointed to know that TSMS and SNS brought down their age limit to ninimum 3 years for nursery from this year. I applied in VB, Khaitan, Somerville , DPSN, TSMS. My child got selected in all and we closed on DPSN. I was keen on TSMS pre nursery but being Feb 17 born my child was selected for nursery but their school timings are 8 am. DPSN has school from 9-12 until class 1.

Don't know what is Somerville's criteria.. we ddnt get a call 4 yrs back fr our first child.. but were called dis tym.. both my kids r Nov born so age can't b a criteria.. I feel dey cumulatively consider many things

Additionally please let me know after how many days from the date of interaction they announce the result and after that how many days they give to deposit the fees after result.

Hi,

TSMS announce the result within 1-2 dz and within 5-6 dz u have to deposit the fee.

We have reserved our seat in Khaitan School but the timings for nursery is from 7:50 to 12:30... Don't you think the morning time is too early for 3 year old. Please suggest.
