Nursery Admissions in Delhi NCR 2025-26

Please confirm that if there any issue if the name of the baby has not appeared on the original birth certificate as MCD had given it without printed name on the birth certificate.

Prashant,some school insist in NCR for it better get it done immediately .it takes a week in delhi(so will take thismuch time in ncr also)

Hi - 2 questions on Sommerville Noida :

1. I know Sommerville accepts only Noida address and they do not take Passport as address proof. Can someone confirm if Voter id is accepted as address proof by the school ?

2. Does Sommerville provide Transport from Indirapuram ?

Hi Sakshi,

My daughter was born in Jan, 2010 and on 1st April, 2014 she will be around 4 years and 3 months.

Last year I was located in Gurgaon and was not able to get her admitted in Formal school as most of the schools in Gurgaon take kid of 3.5-4.5 year age in Nursery. And she was only 3 years and 3 months at that time. So we have decided to take admission in next session means 2014-2015.

Now we have shifted to Noida and again looking for her admission in formal school for nursery class. But the problem is this that most of the reputed schools in Noida have eligibility criteria of 3-4 years for admission in Nursery class. And my kid is again not eligible for admission in schools like Amity, Apeejay, Somerville, Ryan, Ramagya, Bal Bharti and many more. Till now I have got only DPS and Lotus Valley in which I can seek admission for my kid. As per my knowledge, fee of Lotus Valley is more than 1.5 Lakh per annum and getting admission in DPS is not assured. So we will have to consider other schools as well which I am not able to figure right now.

Can you please help me in identifying the schools in which I can try for admission. Also suggest me if there is any way I can get admission in schools having age criteria 3-4 years.

Megha,She is eligible in Somerville/Khaitan/Shiv Nadar ,i think DPS sec 132 also dont have strict upper cut off .

Can you please confirm that my kid is eligible for admission in Somerville sector 22 branch. Also it would be great if you could give some brief about schools Khaitan and Shiv Nagar that where these schools most focuses more on like academics, sports, infra, etc.

Yes Sommerville min 3.5yrs on 31mar 2014 Max 4.5 years

Shiv nadar Holistic and khaitan also has good focus on extra activities

Same question from my side. Only difference is that instead of noida, i need to look for admission for my 4+ daughter in GZB. As suggested by you, I went thru the excel sheet. There seem to be very few options in Gzb. Any other schools apart from the ones suggested in sheet? Thanks.
