Yah Abhinav, you are correct in saying so we all have to be very clear about what we want for our children while finalising the school.

But in order to do so its also necessary to listen to all these comments & read newspaper, discuss etc. Infact its a fact that all these schools especially in Gurgaon seems to have converted into business units but we parents are also helpless & accordingly we will have to makeit possible somehow to get admission in these schools as there is no other way out.

So cheer up parents dont get tensed...all will surely be well since anything can happen anywhere but its just that we all need to be bit careful while shortlisting the school.

Can someone tell me wether Shiv Nadar school is flexible in age criteria as my daugter will be 3.3 months as on 31st March 2014. I am really looking for the same. Also please tell me which all school follows age 3+ as on 31st March 2013 as its is very difficult to find good school following the 3+ criteria

Shivnadar is not that flexible. Its only allowing few days relaxation

But Shiv Nadar has age limit of 3.6 i think since i checked up with them during Schoolex held in Epicentre on 10th Aug,13

They might accomodate else try in amity  G D Goenka, Salwan, Bluebells, Ridge Valley Shalom,Banyan Tree

Thank you Sakshiji, tomorrow is the last day to submit form in Shiv Nadar. Will surely try if they accept the same

Hi Nisha,

I am also facing similar situation as my son is of DOB 16.01.11 and he would also be around 3.3 by next year.

Following are some schools which I could make out till now after following this website :

a) Amity, Sec43

b) Amity,Sec27 ( part of Sec-46 school )

c) Blue Bell School, Sec10

d) Ridge Valley School

e) G.D.Goenka

f) Ryan International

I even checked with Salwan Public school wherein my son was around 1 month short but they refused to accept.

Rest you may check with other parents too.

Thank you for replying but it is so strange that there are only few school following this criteria rest all the school follow 4+ in nursery. It is becoming very difficult to decide which one to choose and leave.

My daughter is born on 25.01.2011. There are 2 more school that follows 3+ criteria are : Gurgaon Valley & Presidium but not sure how are these school in terms of education

Which school is better from the below mentioned list as i stay in Sector-56

a) Amity, Sec43

b) Amity,Sec27 ( part of Sec-46 school )

c) Blue Bell School, Sec10

d) Ridge Valley School

e) G.D.Goenka

f) Ryan International

g) Gurgaon valley

h) Presidium

This is my personal reviews however you may crosscheck with others too :

a) Amity, Sec43 -  Good but some people say crowd is not very good

b) Amity,Sec27 ( part of Sec-46 school )- Good as ultimately you may send your daughter may go to Sec46 school which is a very good one. But only catch here is that Amiown is upto KG class & after that child will go to Sec46 wherein you will have to pay admission fees again as u did in Amiown.

c) Blue Bell School, Sec10 - Good school.

d) Ridge Valley School - Average.

e) G.D.Goenka Public school - Started recently as per one of the parent so it will take time for complete set up.Fees is bit high.

f) Ryan International - Not good.

g) Gurgaon valley - Not heard about.

h) Presidium - Average

Hope you will find teh above in line.

Add banyan tree world school. It was in HT's list of top 10 schools
