My son will just turn 3 in March 2014. Some people say that its too early for kids to start proper schooling. He is going to a pre-nursery...what do you all think? Also, I have heard that in some schools, kids are taken into a separate room & asked questions...my worry is that kids at such a tender age hardly tell anything unless they're in the right mood, or the know the other person too well or might not utter anything unless prompted. Then is it really fair to interview them?

DEE,No it is against the RTE guide lines to screen Kids or parents.

Atleast 2 yrs before in Khaitan Noida, they take kids in separate room, not sure bout current situation

Dee we are facing the same issue.my son is also turning 3 in march 2014.

He was assessed and declared not fit for nursery (though he recited two poems don't know what are they expecting from a 2 yr old) which will start after 8 months from today.

he has been called again for an interaction this time.We are hoping to make it tomo

My daughter id feb 2010 born and in nursery at mother's pride, I want to go for good school in NOIDA , In which schools I can apply for her nursery admissions.

even my kid is also in a same age group. For Nursery, you can visit any school which is on expressway like lotus valley, dps, sommerville, presidium etc. they all are taking your kids either in Nursery/KG.
