Hi all,

DAV 14 is one of my consideration for Pre- Nursery (With 10A). However, strange thing happened. they have published catchment area list which doe not inlude my sector - 23. I called them to check if we can still apply, the lady on phone said - Dont apply. try for Nursery in Sec 14. She cited that distane will be too much (which as per google map = 10.1 Kms). I am assuming 10 Km is their benchmark. and the areas they have mentined are in similar range.

Suggest if I still apply (Hoping that Lady Luck smiles on my child) for Pre-Nursery.

Or should i go to school and check in person.

Views and suggestions appreciated on the same.

Don't apply, you will simply waste your time and effort and money. It happened with me too last year....they gave me the same suggestion...so i;m applying for Nursery this year

Admission To LKG

AGE REQUIREMENT

FOR L.K.G. 3½ + YEARS AS ON 01.04.2014

Download Registration Form

The Registration Form duly completed should be deposited by 07.09.2013 positively.

Submission of application Form does not guarantee admission, which will depend on the number of vacancies.

Decision of the School Selection Committee for admission would be final.

Transport facility available on existing routes only.

Apply separately for EWS Category.

List of the selected candidates for LKG would be displayed on 14.09.2013 at 11.00 a.m.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR REGISTRATION:

Attested photocopy of birth certificate from Municipal Corporation.

One passport size photograph.

Proof of residence i.e. Ration Card / Voter ID / Telephone Bill / Driving Licence etc. (If it is a rental residence, copy of lease deed from the landlord).

Attested photocopy of class XII pass certificate as Alumni proof.

Proof of EWS/BPL Certificate / Monthly Income Certificate (Only for EWS/BPL Candidates)

Anybody please let me know can I get the admission-form tomorrow of LVIS for Nursery class and what documents they needed to submit along with admission form?

Pre-requisites at the time of submission of Registration form :

Attested copy of Birth Certificate from Municipal Corporation.
Proof of Residence.
Transfer Certificate from Grade I upwards.
Photocopy of Report Card of last two years to be attached with the Registration Form at the time of submission from Grade I upwards.

Hi Krishan,

I think you can download the Lotus Valley admission form and submit it tomorrow. Sakshi can throw some light on this.

but i m afraid u might not get the form tommorow....forms were available only on 26th and 27th august....29th is for submission only....

Hi Sakshi/Parents,

As now DAV admissions are open, i was going through the eligibility criteria.

It is mentioned that for LKG child has to be 3 1/2 + as on 1.04.14. My child is Feb. 20111 born, which makes him 3yrs 2mnths on 1st April 14.

Do you think that they will give relaxation for his age, or else should i only try for their pre-nursery?

Also suggest is DAV - 48 also good in academics?

Deepali, i am also in same situation as of your as my son is also Feb 2011 born. Please update on forum if you get any info regarding the age relaxation in DAV sec 14 for nursery.
