Thanks for sharing this document.
So their teacher student ratio is around 1:30
300 for nursery, can their current infra handle this many kids?
anil ji,
You are absolutely wrong.
The document clearly says the word enrollment during 2013-2014, meaning they have 620 kids in Prenursery, Nursery and Prep. Nowhere, it says its proposed strength.
As per the document they have 4 sections with 90 Kids in Nursery, 10 sections with 281 kids in Nursery and 9 sections with 249 kids in Prep enrolled for the year 2013-2014.
Now if you count number of teachers, they have 24 PPT (PrePrimary Teachers), By simple calculation the ratio comes to 26 students to one teacher.
You may be right only if they have major drop-out cases. So people paying the enrollment fee, but not letting their kids join the school. In that case the dorp-out ratio is very high.
Avinash,Please see the latest info given by school in HT for four schools in last 2 days including LVIS . I feel roughly they might have 30-40( approx)more seats also whose list will come soon as 2nd list. This is my perspective(after adjusting there prenursery and sibling children) Please take this as my perspective and not confirmed figure which might not be accurate.
Can anyone help me with feedback of Matrikiran. I really liked the school ideology.. But the point is there are so many schools coming in gurgaon. Providing good infrastructure is much different than providing good education . My point here is do these all good schools have good facilitators(teachers) too??
It's been 2 times physically and one time over the phone in a time frame of 1 month during the visiting hours itself 3:00 to 3:30 I tried to visit LVIS but always the LVIS receptionist say's There are several Workshops going on.I don't understand why they give same reason to everyone.Infact on this forum several parents complained the same. Why don't they allow a parent visit during visting hours
Hi
I visited LVIS today, the reception and form submission was warm and smooth.
found the campus good
the gurads were very well coordinating the cars and school buses to avoid chaos and unncessary honking.
Dear All Parents,
Hope we would come across in Scottish High for the nursery forms.
But the million dollar question remains the same as to what time one should reach school. As i still find it un-ethical to stand thr in the queue in front of the school gate at 4 in the morning.

Hi Abhinav,
Scottish High is making the process easier from next year. They'll ask all parents to stand in a line and compete in a 100 metre dash. The one who reaches the other end first, gets the form.
All are tactics to create hype....Most will offer seats even after 6 months if wish to shift from one school to another.
I recently visited GD Goenka and was blown away by the facilities and the infra. Also they were very helpful in taking you through the campus and answer all your queries. Although its a new schoold, being a renowned name in the field, this should be a good school in future. What is the view of other parents.
anli ji,
I agree with you on this one. Their infrastructure is far far better than most sought after school.
