@Supriya : As per my understanding, both are equally good with good focus on academics, one difference is DAV is bit cheaper than DPS..

Regarding which one to choose, we won't get the privilege :( as DPS-45 results would be out on coming 7th while DAV result would be out only around 20-25th Sep...

DAV is way better than DPS 45. DPS, IMHO, is more hype and not worth the exorbitant fee (relatively speaking) that they charge. Also, DAV's result will be out on 14th September at 11am. This is as per their website

Sumeet,

" DAVs result will be out on 14th Sept,11 am "  - Pls confirm if its for Prenursery or Nursery

It is written for LKG only, i.e., Nursery

Thansk sumeet.

Thanks Sumeet for the clarification.Even i am more inclined towards DAV.

But someone who has both these schools on the list and in case child is lucky enough to get through in DPS-45, we would get just 2 days to pay the fee and it won't be easy to let DPS-45 go keeping in mind admission criterion(points system) in DAV !!

I would still go for DAV over DPS. I haven't come across a single unhappy parent for DAV and DPS, as i said, is charging way more than it should. A school like Lotus Valley's annual fee comes out to be 1.6 lacs p.a., while for DPS 45 it comes to be 1.8 lac (rough figures for both). Makes no sense for me. Again, it is a personal opinion

And another thing, DAV Sec 14 shortlist candidates based on point system, so if we are located more than 10 KMs from DAV Sec 14 then chances of admission are very less
@Tuhina - I talked to LVIS today and they mentioned that they have called first set of parents (Shortlisted on basis of distance criteria). Next set of parents they will call on 4th and 5th Sept.

@Nisha...is it for Nursery or Pre-nursery?

@ Nisha....thanks for the info...do you know on the no. of seats in LV...will give us a feel if we have a chance in the first place...

I remember while interactions with then they mentioned  for pre-nursery they have around 4 sections with 20 seats each..
