How was the parent , child interaction at Scottish High .We have an interaction scheduled there tomorrow.

the interaction was very smooth. the child was taken for the interaction alone, she came back after 5 mins or so with a star on her hand and some chocolates, so she was very happy..she refuses to tell me what happened inside so we will never know that :)

then we were taken to the chairman's room with 4 other parents and our kids. the principal was also there and we were asked to introduce ourselves and say where our kid was currently going to school and then the chairman explained about how many seats were there and gave a general update on teh school inviting any qs.

@ Rohan: they have asked for arond Rs.1.65L without the transport charges out of which around Rs.40K is refundable. they are asking for a Rs.25K deposit (refundable) for transport plus there is a charge of Rs.10K for a memory book of your child (this is optional)

Rs. 40k - security deposit (refundable)

Rs. 60k - one time fee (non-refundable)

Rs. 29k (annual charges)

Rs. 11.7k per month (asking for first 3 months of 2014-15)

Rs. 15k (deposit for transport - refundable)

Rs. 10k (nursery album)

Total = Rs. 189k at the time of admission

+ monthly transport charges which would be around Rs. 4k but they will confirm the exact figure around Nov - Dec' 13 when they'll chart out their bus routes.

Hi Anisha,

Yes you have made the right decision and so did I.......Even my son got selected in SH and we have made the fees payment today.....

I checked with people who's kids are studying in SH and they were all very positive.
