Nursery Admissions in Delhi NCR 2024-25

You are right Tejasvi. We were very keen on LVIS for our daughter's admission. But the experience with LVIS has not been good, right from day 1. Maybe it is time to get over the school and move to others like Manav Rachna, who at least entertain the parents and their concerns. LVIS is turning into another snobbish school, probably due to the unusual hype it has received in last couple of years.

We are considering almost all like MRIS,LVIS, DPS, Salwan, DAV, SN, KRM Heritage..

But its so confusing and yes its a big assignment.

Dear Pooja,

I had an interaction in MRIS - they took my son to a room and asked his questions on counting, colours, body-parts, shapes, concepts of big small etc. Parents are not allowed inside. Then we met the pricipal who explained the school philosophy etc. and told that admission is granted.

Good you secured admission.

But personally I find it too much on part of the school to quiz such small kids. Kids do shy away from strangers and even if they know all answers they will end up keeping quiet or cry in absence of their parents! Not sure what they wanted to judge by these questions to a 2.5-3 yr old kid.

Agree completely. In fact my kid refused to speak and only once made comfortable he started opening up.

But we decided with admission in MRIS. :)

Schools like LVIS just minting money by not disclosing their admission criteria and changing version every now n then .. evn they didnt confirmed how many seats are available. Why cant they be more transparent.. only reason make money... if you guys want money ask for donations rather than fooling parents.....

In this perspective schools like Sriram, DAV, DPS are at least clear and transparent to all parents.

I had been to Amity,Sec43 session where we had following steps :

a) Filled online form after which I received instant appointment for 26th Aug,13 at fixed time

b) I been to school on given date & time. Submitted copy of online form with photos & address & DOB proof. After that we were given one questionaire which was to be filled by us & submitted back within 1 hours & we did the same.

After that we were informed that the list will be announced of shortlisted children.
