Is both DAV school sec14 & 48 are open today as today is 2nd Saturday???????? Their phones seems unavaible!!!! dont know what to do

Hi,

My son has got admission into DPS Sushant Lok as well as DAV Sec 14. In general i have heard that DAV Sec 14 is better than DPS SL and many other schools in Gurgaon. Would you be able to explain how DAV Sec 14 is better than other schools?

Also DAV Sec 14 gives an option between CBSE and CBSE -I (CBSE International Curriculum).. Can somebody guide which curriculum is better?

Hi Vanit,

First of all comparison between DPS & DAV is bit tough since both are equally good. The main difference I suppose is the fees structure which seems to be high in DPS as compared to DAV. 

Regarding syllabus, CBSE-i is the future & CBSE is past as well as present. As per Indian government update all schools have been directed to have CBSE-i syllabus instead of CBSE & slowly all schools are getting this change done although it will take sometime since it is not so easy to do. Infact CBSE is a a mixture of Indian & International syllabus, in CBSE-i things are thought in software, computer so kids gets adjusted to the same at beginning stage itself which may help in future unlike in CBSE where we learnt operating computer after long time.

Just been to heritage for school walk & documents verification. Its a large campus having elaborate sport facilities. Having separate area for yoga and meditation. All seems great but still having confusion for their academic side. Will my kid find difficult to compete with other conventional school kids. ???
They stress more on reading .
