Very surprised also at 6th point.Do they need parents qualification certificates also.My child can not spaek properly as she just finished 2 yrs in august.tense also.....................

@Mohik,

I just told about the documents which they may ask & its better to carry while going for these interactions. They may or may not ask all documents. May be they will only ask for Birth certificate & immunization card since its just Pre nursery.

School has presently made two batches of 30 parents each wherein 30 would be coming tomorrow & balance 30 next day.

Don't be tensed everything will be ok. Just be positive.

It means only 60 people fill Salwan form for prenursery .is it?

@Mohik,

It means at present they are calling 60 parents (30 tomorrow & 30 day after tomorrow) & not sure if total of 60 may increase or not. This is what the lady told when I called today before lunch.

@V R Harihar Have u filled DAV fees.I think you child being shortlisted in DAV for prenursery.DAV will come up with second list also?Any idea

@Mohik,

No not yet, i am planning to go for fee submission tomorrow  or day after.

Regarding 2nd list, I am not sure. Don't worry, I will check with them once i go there & then let you know.

Thanks a lot

Hi All- My child has been selected for Nursery in Heritage School, Gurgaon. However, I am a little confused about the school. Things like no uniform, less of textbooks, no exams till a certain age are new for us but the school emphasies they are extremely important for a child's overall development. Your views are welcome...

@Saurabh,

Yes, you are absolutely right since this kind of approach is bit confusing for most of the parents including myself ( studied in conventional schools with books, tests, exams, viva etc. ) who had the totally different kind of education system.

As per few Parent's feedback the facilities, extra curricular activities, school environment etc. are really a good one in Heriatge but when it comes out to academics, it is not so. So you need to focus first on feedback on academics which will be the most important criteria for judging any of the school by the parent.

Secondly, you would also need to discuss with school authorities about education criteria i.e

- How do they judge if child is grasping the information or not when they are not taking any exams

- How do they improve upon reading skills of a child when there are no textbooks

- How do they teach children about discipline as uniform is the foremost thing by which child learns about discipline in a school

I mean these are small small queries which does comes into mind while taking a decisions which you need to think more about.

Hope you will find the above atleast a bit helpful. However my view may differ with others, so you are requested to consider other parent's opinion too.

Thanks.

Academic wise Heritage is not good.5th class students even do not know tables also.

Sec 46 is better than sec 51.

@V R Harihar you got Salwan message or not.some of my known got message now only for tomorow interaction
