Shakil seems you are convent passed out :-)
FAS>SFS>Cambridge=St Thomas
Yes, Yash..well guessed :-)
I completed my schooling from St. Francis' College, Lucknow, which has been one of the best and renowned schools in that belt..established in 1885 :-)
I don't think any of the convent schools in Noida/Gzb would even come close to it
Done with interaction at SFS. It was good as last for around 10 min in same room. We were interacting with father and our daughter was with teachers (2). father ask questions like; why SFS? where r u working? How all are in your family? where you belongs to? what is your expectation from school? questions asked to daughters are; what's your name? your father/mother name? which fruits is this? tell some nursery ryme? color this flower?
@Shakil.....i agree with the rating of Yash
secondly about being fan of Convent.........my dear friend i will never go for Amity, Goenka and DPSI
As u sounding as an expert....and i am one n half month old for Indirapuram, pls suggest yr choice even i know that time has passed and admission procedures are in a second or final leg
@Rakesh..not really an expert, Sir! But yes, my 2 cents of input, if that helps you..FAS, definitely would be my personal best amongst all the options..SFS, I have a mixed feedback..good in academics and discipline but lesser attention to extra curricular and sports..also the playing area/ground in SFS is very small..also, SFS fees like FAS is on the very competitive side..almost half of public schools..As regards, Cambridge & St Thomas, they are equal in reputation, but definitely below FAS and SFS, as I have gathered from experts on this forum.
Also, one question for you: Why don't you want to go for Amity & DPSI at all? Please share your thoughts for our benefit
Amity and Goenka i feel is like an IPL .....a money making machine and that's the reason i dont watch IPL(very personal view) DPSI - WITH WHOMSOEVER i spoke, i got a negative feedback. I request you all to not to go on HT top ten schools chart, as its a sponsored chart (Internal HT sources has shared this)
Hi Rakesh and all... Everybody is sailing in different boats...everyone has its personal opinion .
I personally not in favour of convent schools.
Do watch this to make opinion about convent schools---

Ha ha.....@ Brijesh.....u made yr opinion based on this man....he was sounding crap.....in past we use to hear him for a laugh
Rakesh it sound bit Rude.
Brijesh@ Please dont make your opinion on other saying, we are mature enough to think and judge.
I am 100% sure, you also tried in some convent school for your kid too.
Convent( western country) is same as Ashram or Gurukool we have in India.
Yash, this is not solely the reason
@rakesh-I was not fully convinced with this man but he produced facts aswell.
but to be frank ,convent schools seems to be more communal rather then secular.
Yash,i gone through the interaction process of some convent (FAS,ST. francis) just to check .. and I found it bit traditional and more disciplined ,we need to be open up and broad minded for future growth ,which I feel these traditional schools lack and offcourse modern international schools exceeds these.so we need to find a balanced one.
Well in my case i am open to all convent or Modern school... Inter nation school not fit in my pocket :-(
