Somehow we missed DPS 45 form.Any idea can we apply there for prenursery admission.

DPS forms are not available now. We had applied a month or so back. You can try posting an admission query at:

Hey Sakshi,

My daughter has already been going to a near-by play school. She has picked up a lot from there - her ABCs, counting till 20, various rhymes, all colors, some shapes, basic animals, fruits, and vegetables. She still has around 6 months of learning left before she moves on to Amity (in case I choose that). So, my guess is that she should be ready for Nursery. Do you have any idea about the curriculum in Nursery? What do you think - will she be able to manage?

Yes Priya,In Delhi all kids go at the age of 3 plus or average age of your kid. If you are sure go ahead with amity.

Priya I would suggest let her live one more year of her childhood.

@Priya,

Pre-Nursery is more about identifying smells, colours, pictures, numbers etc. whereas Nursery is about Writing, Reading etc.

Nursery-It will be standing line,sleeping line,counting from 1-10,upper ABC not so much

Yes, I too concur to what Sakshi said because here we should understand one thing which is very important that a child should not suffer as otherwise it may be a huge setback for you at later stage since your kid may not be able to cope up with the studies.

In case you feel your kid is very fast & understand things quiet well due to which your kid then its ok to proceed for Nursery.

when did you get the call from DPS? I went to the school two days before and was told that the admissions for prenursery are already closed.

Currently, I need to choose between DPS 45 and AIS 43. Will keep you posted.
