@Piyush,
Swiss Cottage is also one of the option in Palam Vihar i believe.
Regarding Gems International & Maurya schools there is no feedback.
Thanks.
@Kanchan
Hi,
GD Goenka is better than Ridge Valley school.
Thanks
Any idea about Amity 46 and DPS 45 Quarterly fees in higher classes like from 2nd Standard onwards.My elder daugther is in 3rd Class DPS Sec 28.We are not happy with that school,no extra activities at all,no annual function also.As me having 3 kids,so want to transfer my daughter to Amity 46 as DPS 45 age major concern.So please provide me details about fees.
Sorry Mohik, no idea about Amity, Sec46 or DPS,Sec45.
@Mohik,
Its really surprising that DPS,Sec28 branch is so much non functional otherwise its a common belief of most of the parents that all DPS are good.
Well in that case i believe Amity,Sec46/ DPS,Sec45 will be a good option afterall main branch is allways main branch. But do check if you would need to pay "Admission Fees" again in DPS,Sec45 wihle transferring your child as this is one of the concern in few schools like DAV, Amity etc.
I am not sure of Amity,Sec46 branch fees but i remember during Amiown form filling session, I had asked the counsellor about the fee structure in Amity,Sec-46 for which she said that in Amiown quarter fees is around 30-40K which will get lowered in Amity,Sec46 in higher classes so accordingly i believe it must be around 25K.
However you may try to get information from others too in this regard.
Thanks.
DPS 45 we have to pay admission fees again.but we can not try in DPS 45 for my eldest daugther as she will go 1 lower class in it.So we are thinking of Amity sec 46 for her.
@Mohik
Yes you are right. That's the only problem in DPS since their age criteria is totally different as compared to others.
Hi Sania
What I said was that i am confused in choosing between the two.
you are correct that it is individual's perspective. Definitely every parent wants best for his child. I have set basic expectations from the school for my kid.
Ridge valley satisfies those expectations, the classrooms are not air-conditioned but they are big and comfortable. It has big grounds and ample playing area. The building is not very impressive, but neat and clean most importantly the parents whom i could manage to meet outside the school were satisfied with the child's progress. Only drawback is that it is not value for money.
Then once you are ready to pay that amount of fees (Rs 12000-13000 pm) , you feel that for same amount, schools like G D Goenka offers much more.
But i personally feel that since we have a simple but comfortable standard of living ( not luxurious) , i am looking for similar environment for my kid.
Every household has different conditions , standard of livings, choices, so there can not be a common perception.
Thanks...
Does any Sri Ram has Pre Nursery? Can anyone suggest which school is a better option for nursery/ pre nursery amongst DPS Sec 48, Shikshantar, G.D. Goenka sec 48, Gurgaon Valley and Sri Ram School?
@Mayank,
For Shri Ram Aravali, please refer conversation (Ms.Lathaa) on Page no.300 for your query.
Out of the lot, I believe DPS is the best & then G.D.Goenka.
Regarding Shikshantar & Gurgaon Valley its a mixed feedback.
Thanks.
