Shri Ram has used lottery system...scores as low as 45 have been shortlisted
Sumit...
Doesnt look like lottery ....
@Ravinder
I believe you were trying for your son's admission in Shri Ram. Could you manage to get it ?
No...we didnt get through...so we will be going ahead with scottish high...
Ravinder@ it is lottery...when other schools went in for parent interaction, Shri Ram went the luck way :(
@Sumit..
Parent profiling can be done without interaction...we fill a lot of information about us in the form...I am not sure whats the selection criteria but definitely not lottery...can be parent profiling ...can be how u have performed in essay....
It is surely lottery. There was no detailed info that was asked in TSRS Aravali's form regarding the parents. And I believe the amount of information that was asked was the bare minimum that generally any body would ask. Secondly, am sure everyone would agree that number of applications that would have been filled up would be way higher than 160 and if some one see the range of points, it ranges between 93 to 45. There is no way this process could have been completed without lottery system.
Rightly said Anshul!
When other schools have followed a decent transparent format, this overrated school has gone in for lottery and scores as low as 45 have gone thru! What was the point of essay and all the drama when all this was pre-fabricated. There was absolutely no parent profiling done!
Ideally, this result should be challenged..as even if its lottery, it needs to be done in presence of parents!
Good morning Praneeta,
Out of the 3 options you have given Shri Ram & Scottish High are the better ones & then comes Lotus Valley.
In case you have got admission in all 3 then , its better to choose from the earlier 2 options since both are the most sought after schools in Gurgaon.
- Facility wise both are equally good.
- Academic wise Shriram has edge over Scottish high as per parents feedback.
- You can check for type of Curriculum thought in schools (Shriram - ICSE & ISC, Scottish High - ICSE,IB,IGCSE). In case you have got plans for shifting your child abroad at later stage, then its better to choose one of these or else CBSE-i seems to be the better option.
If you ask on overall basis, I would say Shriram Aravali is the better one.Rest you may check feedback from other parents too.
Thanks.
Welcome.
Best wishes for your child.
