Application Forms are available online ONLY.

Please read all instructions carefully before filling the Online Application Form.It will be activated on 2^nd January, 2017 at 11.00 AM until 12.00 Noon on 31^st January, 2017.

General Information

Registration for admission to Pre-school will be done for children born on or before 31^st March, 2014.
Please note that registration of the Application Form does not entitle or guarantee admission to an applicant.
Since there are limited seats available, all applicants cannot be accommodated. Only parents of short listed applicants will be called to verify the claims made in the admission form.
At the time of verification applicants will be required to bring original documents for verification and self attested photocopies for submission.
After verification of documents, the applicants will be further short listed based on points acquired in criteria post verification of documents, and offered admission in order of merit. In case the number of applicants with the same points is more than the number of seats, a draw of lots will be conducted.
No telephonic or personal inquiries will be entertained regarding the status of any application.
Sardar Patel Vidyalaya is a Co-Educational Institution and as a part of its philosophy shall endeavour to maintain gender parity.
Admission will be valid only if the applicable fees and charges are paid in full by the prescribed date, together with necessary documents/certificates and on completion of all other required formalities.
Offer of admission does not mean an automatic allocation / availability of seat in the school bus. Bus facility is subject to availability. Request for relocation of a bus stop or extension/diversion of the bus route will not be entertained.
Every year, the Vidyalaya receives more applications than the number of seats available. Therefore, if an applicant is unable to secure a seat, it is in no way a reflection of his/her calibre.
In any matter regarding admission, its process or the formalities, the decision of the Vidyalaya will be final.
The total number of seats available for Pre-school for the academic year 2017-18 is 100.

The Application Form for Admission, duly completed, must be submitted online as per the given schedule. Other important dates to remember are mentioned below:

Pre-school Admission Application form will be available from	11.00 AM on 2^nd January, 2017 to 12.00 Noon on 31^st January, 2017
Registration of the Application form on all working days at the Vidyalaya will be done between	3^rd January, 2017 and 30^th January, 2017 (9.00 AM to 12.00 Noon only), on 31^st January, 2017 (9.00 AM to 2.00 PM)
Information regarding registered applicants under open seats will be uploaded on SPV website on	2^nd February, 2017
Verification of documents/claims for the shortlisted applicants will be done as per appointment schedule from	3^rd February, 2017 to 14^th February, 2017
First list for Pre-school admission will be published on the official website of the Vidyalaya and displayed on Vidyalaya's Notice Board on	28^th February, 2017 by 4.00 PM
Admission will be closed for Pre-school for the academic year 2017-18	31^st March, 2017

Application Process

Consists of the following Stages :.

Stage 1 : Filling of Online Application form.

Fill the application form.
Print the filled form containing application numbers.

Stage 2 : Registration of Application forms at school.

Deposit Registration Fee of Rs 25/- at the School Premises on all working days between 9.00 AM to 12.00 Noon from 3^rd January, 2017 to 30^th January, 2017 and between 9.00 AM to 2.00 PM on 31^st January, 2017.
You will be given a receipt containing the Registration Number.
This will complete the Registration process.

Stage 3 : Verification Process.

List of documents to be submitted at the time of verification.

For Neighbourhood Criteria: Both parents will be required to submit atleast one document each from the following two groups (This does not apply to single parents who have applied in the category ‘Inclusive Education’):
- Group I: Passport/Voter ID (one from this group).
- Group II: Currently active utility bill for three months or a current Bank Statement giving address.( one document from this group).
In case of Alumnus, Board Mark sheet of class X/XII and proof of having studied in the Vidyalaya for minimum four years is required.
Proof in support of claim made for Gujarati and/or Sibling category.
Proof/supporting documents for any other claim(s) made in the Application Form. Kindly bring the original documents for verification and photocopies duly self attested for submission.
Documents will be verified only at the time of interaction. For this, a specific date and time will be given to each applicant and no documents will be accepted by the Office/Staff after the appointed date and time.
All claims including claims for Gujarati category and residence address are subject to independent verification.

Stage 4 : Admission Process.

After verification, a final list of applicants who will be offered admission will be displayed on SPV website and School Notice Board.

Fees and other Charges should be deposited at the Extension Counter of the Bank of Baroda in the Vidyalaya in cash or by Demand Draft payable to Sardar Patel Vidyalaya, New Delhi.
Parents would be required to open a "FEE ACCOUNT" at the Extension Counter of the Bank in the premises of the Vidyalaya to facilitate transfer of Fees and Charges.
The Vidyalaya reserves the right to revise the FEES AND OTHER CHARGES.

Instructions for filling the form

Read all instructions carefully before filling the form.
Incomplete/incorrectly filled forms are liable to be rejected.
Road distance calculated as per Google Map to be entered.
Registration of online Application forms will be done between 9.00 AM and 12.00 Noon on all working days from 3^rd January, 2017 to 30^thJanuary, 2017 and from 9.00 AM to 2.00 PM on 31^st January, 2017.
All fields are mandatory. The system will not accept the form if all fields are not filled.
There are fields available as drop down boxes. In these fields, please select the option as applicable to you.
There are fields available as check boxes. In these fields, please place a tick mark against the option applicable to you.
After filling the form, we advise you to go through the details once again and if all details are correctly filled, press the ' Submit Form' button. If you wish to erase old information, click on the data and retype / reselect the correct information.
Once the form has been submitted and accepted by the system you cannot make any changes to it.
Once you have filled and submitted the form online, you need to take a print out of the form and Application Receipt displayed. This form bears a TEMPORARY NUMBER starting with 'APPSPV..'. You are advised to retain a printed copy of the form, as this TEMPORARY NUMBER would be required for generation of receipt with REGISTRATION NUMBER.
*(Please make sure that the printout shows details such as Application Number, Date of Application, Name of child, Father's name and Mother's name.)
Payment for REGISTRATION can be made by depositing CASH or swiping your debit/credit card at the Vidyalaya office on all working days between 9.00 AM to 12.00 Noon. A copy of the receipt will be given to you as a proof of registration of your form after the payment of Rs. 25/- has been made.
Please note that the TEMPORARY APPLICATION NUMBER is not eligible for short listing / selection process. Only the REGISTRATION NUMBER received after making a payment at the school premises will be eligible for the same.
MGRM Net / Vidyalaya will not be responsible if registration fee is not deposited against an Application Receipt.
Submission of duplicate forms should be avoided as it will attract inconsistent responses.
After reading the procedure on this page, Click on " I Accept " button to view the ONLINE APPLICATION FORM.
Fill the form with required information. At the end of the form, there is a "Submit Form" button. Click on the button once only. It takes time for the computer to process the information. On pressing "Submit Form", the information you have provided shall be taken into our system. If any information is not provided by you, the system shall return the form to you, prompting you to fill in the same.

I think Sardar Patel is not very clear about the results, when we had called on the 13th/14th of Feb they had said the list for selected candidates were out on the 3rd of Feb and the verification process had completed by the 10th, however when we pointed that the list for selected candidates is not available on the website, they said they hav already removed it as the selection process is over and there won't be any 2nd list. But again when my husband called yesterday 28th Feb,they said the list for the selected ones will be uploaded on the website on the 7th (March). Very confusing. And when I had queried further saying whether they had a separate list besides those selected on the 3rd Feb, they said, it's the same list for the candidates which were selected on the 3rd. I wonder why they would re upload the list again when they have already removed it from the website in the first place and when the process for the selection has already been finalised. Sounds tricky!

Is there a link between Tagore EOK and Vasant vihar . meaning to say, would child join Vasant vihar after tagore EOK prep school /

Dear Lathaa,

The tagore international form asks if my child is the eldest, second or third child. Would I categorize her as the eldest if she is my first and only born child i.e. (no siblings).
