WE SUGGEST ALL THE PARENTS MUST VISIT THE SCHOOL BEFORE GETTING ADMISSION AS AFTER GETTING ADMISSION NOT MUCH TIME IS GIVEN TO DEPOSIT THE FEES (EXCEPT VERY FEW SOUGHT AFTER SCHOOLS )

Hi Anisha

Similar to the query by DD, I have also heard that most students of TSRS go abroad for further studies after class 12th, is that the case?

Thanks

Nina

That is always an option as they also have IB..but they also have ICSE board so kids have a choice..

Thanks for the prompt response, also do u feel that the infrastructure at TSRS is not at par with other newer gurgaon schools and that provides less opportunity to learn for the kids like they donot have a swimming pool at their campus?

Yes i think on that point you may be right as it is a much older school...they don't have a pool but the kids who are interested in swimming as taken to the other campus pool..they have all other extra curricular activities

Nina, i think in the end, this is a choice that you make for your child hopefully keeping the temperament of the child and your situation in mind..every school cant have everything, some will score on some point and some on others..i think it is very important to see which school culturally will be the best fit for your child..like in our case we knew that our daughter will not be very happy in a purely academic driven school like Suncity so we didn't even apply there..our daughter is very happy in Shriram, she is learning but having lots of fun as well..for us that was the most important thing..

Thanks for the revert Anisha!

Thank you so much Anisha for taking out time for replying to our questions, this is very very helpful..thanks again

:) i remember what it feels like, went through all this last to last year so can understand the need for correct information..

Dear Mr Dubari,

I think u too have got admission in Suncity and want to try in TSRS, same with our case and have equal points criteria...also I completely agree with your view that we are middle class working peoples...still thinking to apply in TSRS as well...whats your views and thinking on this?

Sakshi, can you also share your experience on this issue.

Amit

Hi Amit

This is (Mrs.) Dubari btw.. Yes we have taken admission in Suncity and trying in TSRS purely on basis of feedback, ratings and results. Both of us husband wife are technical professionals with good academic backgrounds and aspire the same for our daughter (unless of course she chooses to do something else when she grows up). Hence our choices! No harm in trying right??!!

Rgds

yes absolutely no harm in trying for this school, I also heard a lot for this school.

but the point u raised is very valid, have you checked this feedback in suncity as well.

Yes actually! What I like about Suncity is that they are following a balanced philosophy (or atleast that's what seems to me at this moment) - Early years programme (Pre-Nursery to KG), CBSEi (Class I- V), CBSE (Class VI-VIII) and then choice of CBSE / IGSCE/ IB from Class IX onwards. Co-curricular activities are more emphasized on from Class I onwards.

In addition, we have taken feedback in person as well as online and am convinced. Basically I feel that as in other things in life, there will be better schools and there will be worse schools; we have to make the best of what we get / choose!

Ur kid in nursery / pre-nursery?

thats true,,what I like about Suncity is there balanced approach and feedback of many parents about the school...i have met many parents in school campus and almost all are satisfied.

dont know much about TSRS but based on ratings & feedback, seems a good option...only problem I can see is ICSE board.

my son is in nursery.
