I think we as parents are in same soup of trouble this year also, as guidelines has only been issued for dates and still there has been no criteria fixed for nursery admissions. Except 285 schools, rest of the schools have been left to do admissions independently without any rule blanket on it. I have personally discovered that, out of those 285 schools on which government has put blanket of strict neighbourhood criteria, none of them is near my locality. and those schools, which i want to apply or my child to get admission in, does not come under the list of these 285 schools. Atleast Neighbourhood criteria should be applicable to all the schools.
My child is born in september, 2012. Is she eligible for Nursery? getting confused, as there were some changes in the age criteria later last year
Of course she is eligible. There is a minimum age for admission to nursery which is 3 years on 31st march of the year in which admission is sought. There is no maximum age as such.
Nursery admissions are all set to begin in the national capital from January 2, 2017, all affiliated schools except 285 will conduct the admission process as per the government guidelines.
As per reports, the 285 schools build on DDA land will have separate guidelines and schedule.
Meanwhile, for the rest of the schools, the guidelines remain the same as last year.
Furthermore, the cost of each form will be Rs 25 and parents will not be forced to buy school prospectus.
This year, the only difference is that schools will have to reserve two days to resolve parents' grievances, if any, after the declaration of the first admission list.

Hello Sakshi
It would be helpful if you guide me for my bellow queries. I am an NRI and planning to return to India with family on March 21st.
I have planned to fill school applications online outside of India
1) What does Transfer means ? For whom it is applicable ? I am an NRI and planning to comeback in march and seeking admission for my child in nursery. Do I have any added advantage ? What documents do I need for this case ?
2) How can I upload these affidavits like "First Born Child" while applying online
I am and will be thankful for your time.
Regards:
Sachin.

1 Transfer points are schools specific
2 All schools are not online ,many give physical forms .so you have to apply by going personally in those schools
Moreover some schools with online forms ask you to submit affidavit after getting admission..going personally..you should be in Delhi in Jan (my suggestion)
Hello Sakshi
I am obliged to have reply and suggestion from you. I am thinking to send my spouse in Jan instead.
Since my parents/brother are in India, I have asked their help to apply phisically as required. They can look after the fees/documents/details/communication with the school. Only problem is with Affidavit issue.
Does springdales pusa road or Bal Bharti pusa road had any transfer points last year ? or Is there any such option mentioned in their application forms .
Regards
Sachin
