Nursery Admissions in Delhi NCR 2026-27

It means all the schools on Govt land (List of 298 schools) that started admissions on 10 Jan have to put their own criteria keeping in mind 19 Dec DOE Guidelines like other 1400 schools plus also 0-1/1-3/3-6/ More than 6 km Km and mandatory for parents to choose how much Km slot they fall in .

THE HC WILL DECIDE ON 19 AFTER SCRUTINY WHICH CRITERIA STAYS ( ALSO THE MANAGEMENT QUOTA WILL BE DECIDED ON 19 TH JAN)

ALL THE SCHOOLS ON GOVT LAND ( 298 ) WILL COME WITH NEW FORMS AND PARENTS HAVE TO FILL NEW FORMS OLD WOULD NOT BE VALID

It is the harassment of parents due unprofessional attitude of DOE. They would have circulate the new guideline six months prior to the starting of the admission process.

Is birth certificate compulsory for nursery admission? If the child has AADHAR card is it enough?

I feel most of the schools will keep the form same and only post the revised criteria. So Parents should not panic and just wait for a day or two.There may not be any need to refill the form as schools have already made their forms as per their requirement.

Only few schools had modified or added extra sheets to their original forms to capture area criteria,now for this new requirement few may opt to change their forms.But major confusion would be to find out which is final format ?

Anyway the form has to be be filled again because of school specific criteria

Checked with few schools if there will be a requirement to resubmit the forms , as per them scrutiny of already submitted/accepted application will be subjected to HC order expected in next hearing.Even schools dont want to get into the process of re application.....one such response as below...

With reference to your above mail, please be informed that if you have submitted your application post 3:00 pm on 12th Jan, you need not submit it again. In regard to directives of HC, please note that the order says, "The scrutiny of the forms is subject to further orders to be passed in the present writ petition."

No clarification from doe but you should be able to..no harm in cross-checking
