Rukmani Devi - Eligible candidate list
It's look like born as a second male child is a SIN in Delhi.
I always wanted a daughter as I already have elder son, but with god grace I have a second son.
Now with all this admission scenario going in delhi, I really feel sorrow that why I am not having daughter instead of son.
All points are divided into siblings & alumni & rest are given to Girl Child or First Born Child. It seems second born male child have no right to study in good school.
Was very much hoping for DPS rohini admission when actually the admission process started, as it is just 50 meters away from my house, but with new criteria I am nowhere as got only 40 points which is not liable for any draw as well.
Hi Ashish. Sorry to hear this. but pls dont lose hope. every child has his or her own destiny and God has some good plan so just because schools are being manipulative and acting pricy that doesnt mean they can decide fate of our children.
so keep trying and relax.
we all r facing same problems but cant help it.
so stay calm
best wishes
Yes Ashish ,
I totally agree with Deepti and Neelam. Do not lose hope . You and your wife are everything for your children ( that includes your second son as well) . Nursery admission is a small challenge in front of the likely challenges you/we will face as parents for the rest of our lives . The two things that no one can ever take away from us are HOPE and HARD WORK. Nothing beats the Power of Persistence , not even destiny . Keep trying , a person who fails to accept defeat is bound to succeed . Best of Luck.
ashish u hv good chance in sibling category, second male child is not SIN. sibling category is thr for second male child
Thanks Neelam / Deepti & Prakash
Sibling category I will get a chance only in that school where I got forced to get admission of my first child because of this all schools manipulations & own criteria's 5 years back. I am not getting options of good schools for my son
When we say that both girls & boys are equal in today's world & both should get equal opportunities. But at last we see both are not equal, not getting equal opportunities. And in society we our self creating this discrimination that being a girl child you will get this etc. Why can't we have good mind set & treat both girl & boy equal
Yes hopes are there with my FD's to purchase seat in some school now, its not I am defeated but yes the hard work we do to earn we have to give these people who are just running pure business
Totally agree with Ashish. In today's world, where we are talking about gender equality and a child is not able to participate in draw just because of his gender just because he is a boy. Getting admission is different thing but we are not even participating in draws of some of pioneer schools, like Mothers, just because we have boy child. I dont know what example this so called A group schools are setting.
Please do not loose hope, atleast for your children's sake. Try to work it out and remember, at the end of the day; a school does not necessarily makes a child successful. Put a brave face in front of your children and family; as this is what they exactly require to learn, face challenges and never loose hope attitude. Good Luck.
