Hi Sakshi/Parents,

I really appreciate moderators aind parents for the commendable job they are doing of helping other parents in need of first hand real time info.

I too seek valuable advice in deciding about a school for my daughter.

My Daughter is in waitlist of St. MARKS MEERA BAGH. They have released 35 names in waitlist.

I have one more school in hand whose document verification is going to be held tomorrow which is medeocre.

need answers for the following:

1. What are the chances to get a seat in 2nd list?

2. In most of the cases parents are adviced to block a seat and wait for 2nd list, my question is if I block a seat school is going to keep original birth certificate and by gods grace if i get a call from St. marks, how can I retreive original birth certificate from previous school within a short period of time say in 2 days.

We get generally 5 or 6 original birth certificates from MCD.

Thanks deepti for your help..but my daughter was born in Meerut and here the time limit is only 5 days so its impossible to get new birth certificate in 5 days :(
