Respected members and moderators
I got a call today for my daughter's admission to KG- Carmel Convent, Malcha Marg. I have already secured a seat for her in KG - Salwan Montessori Rajendra Nagar. I am confused on where do I get her admission finalized? Carmel is a convent school with traditional setup but more renonwned and focus on academics. Salwan Montessori on other hand is a CO Ed with not much name compared to other schools although there class room setup till Class 1 seems good but in the long run primary or senior wings are not having great reviews when compared to other schools. Distance is not an issue for my child but in long term considering the school background, academics and profile, which one of the two should I go ahead with. Will appreciate your inputs and feedback.
Vikram
If Co ed is not a serious concern, just go for carmel
i would request members to share reviews
As we all know Co-ed ia always better for children
Keeping in mind Carmel and Salwan are both sought after schools

I agree with Sakshi. Co ed is an important criteria. Personally I would like to send my child to co ed.

See complaint by krishan kant about extra 25 k being asked extra, i think they are taking advantage of parents anxiety (demand vs/supply) due to which many parents of south delhi and north delhi going to ncr
I also got from FOundation school, saying that u hv to tell us ur decision within Half an hour, otherwise, seat will be offered to next candidate :)
ALSO i hv heard from my freind that last to last year, INDIAN school was taking admissions of children and later on shifting them to Foundation school (means afternoon shift) without any consent of concerned parents, and this ended up in litigation
I must say Indian School and Foundation School has very bad management system. I got a call from Indian School for KG admission and when I went they replied all seats in KG are full and offered me seat in foundation school.
Why u called and harras parents when you know that seats are full.
I must say schools are completely negligible towards the inconvenience they cause to parents.
You info might be right but complaints about foundation schools over all this year you can see in todays post.
