I think there is some confusion regarding fee hike this session....2017 -2018.........as schools have to implement the 7th Pay Commission guidelines sooner or later. If and when they do so the , obviously the increased pay packages will TRANSLATE into fee hike for Parents....fee hike might be as high as 20 % - 30%

BUT IN THE MEANTIME till DOE / Delhi Govt decides the justified hike in teachers pay and the consequently increased fees ( process is going on) the schools can only increase the fees by 10 % ( those not on government land) AND all schools on government land (around 300 ) will require prior approval EVEN FOR THAT 10% HIKE.

Friends I joined this forum really late else it would've been a lot easier to get my son's admission. However, I want to share my experience for parents who are still waiting for admission. Please don't get disheartened. I took admisison today for my son at Tagore Intl EoK. I dodn't have much guidance howevere, I kept on writing to the school and visiting it daily. If they didn't allow me in, I would drop my writeen application at the gate. I have been doing this diligently for a month and now thank God my child is admitted. I'd suggest you pick one favourite school of yours and try to talk to them again and again. They will surely consider. If you are after too many schools you might not be able to give enough time to your favourite schooland that is the one andonly thing they wantr. So choose one school and give it your best. Efforts are certainly rewarded.

Mr Sinha ,congratulations. On a personal note I would like to say that nothing gives me more happiness and satisfaction than those times where PERSISTENCE translates into success.I am a great believer in the same and have advised all along to everyone to be persistent in their efforts. Your Success story is a perfect example of the fact that the only thing that is omnipotent is PERSISTENCE. WELL DONE , feel extremely happy for you and your family.
