Other than first list and WL, there are few kids who have been admitted in MQ. Also there will be EWS kids.
If any school is most shout than why the people are not interested to take admission when their name appears in the first list.
Here we are talking about the people who are selected in draw of lots because they are first time facing this things or sibling or alumni. The kids who’s parents are professional or well off their kids are easily selected in 6-7 schools as all the schools do profiling.
I only like to say that let the parents decide which school is good or which is not because everyone have their own priority. After all, all these schools are B grade school and small ups and downs doesn’t matter.
Rakesh
There are two sides of a coin. Just want to mention other side of coin. Please don’t take it as BVN vs GB.
Dear All
Pls see comment posted by me yesterday before all this discussions as per parents first hand reviews from many years
Both schools are good
but

While people are having an intense discussion on BVN vs GBS, somebody from an unknown school from a small town of Kashmir, Uttar Pradesh or Bihar has topped UPSC/CAT. No offence to anybody, but it's parents who mould their kids what they become, schools are just a medium.
Yes ,parents role is very imp.
I completely agree with u Shobhit....Parents are the one who decide the future of a kid not the school..
Shobhit
I believe that both Parents and school together play an important role in the development of kid besides kids own efforts and capabilities. While every parent tries his best to give good environment at home they also want best school within their means. Problem is availability of good schools and therefore this stressful phase of getting into a good school. Just because a kid from a say Govt school has passed or topped a prestigious exam, will all parents send their children to Govt school when they have better options. I feel the answer would be no. So neither parents nor schools nor kids alone can do wonders though exceptions may be there. Its joint efforts by all concerned.
As regards discussions in this forum, I feel these are friendly and healthy and are necessary and help parents in taking right decision. As it is very few information and guidance is available and this forum through its moderators and members contribution is of great help to all parents.
Dr. Rakesh,
My point was that primary responsibility of shaping a child's future lies with the parents. There are very good students in not-so-good schools and vice-versa. Yes, we all make efforts to get our child in 'best' school but the criterion of best may differ from person to person, so School X may be best for one while School Y may be best for the other. But at the end of the day both will face shrugged shoulders if their children don't perform.
There is no denying that this is a wonderful forum and I am indebted for the help and support I got from the Moderator and active parents like you. Thanks again!
On a lighter note, I read somewhere that India is a country with highest per capita opinion. I am one of those increasing the number ;)
